Someone posted a sort of rant against President Trump titled something like “sad but true “. Gone now so no one can see if it got ugly at the end but it’s too bad we can’t discuss some things without getting nasty

The forum back end had some issues and appears to have been reverted to a backup a few days old, I'm gonna guess that's what the issue is and not an individual thread removed... Although I could be wrong...

I think the one Jeff is referring to was from this morning (or last night). I don’t think it got nasty, but it certainly had a LARGE potential for it.

(But then, most do around here)

I removed it.  Perhaps some people's definition of nasty is not the same as mine.  I am very weary of the political baiting and drum beating.  It's the same folks left and right.  No one is being influenced to changed.  It's likely that very few are informed of what they didn't already know.

If your primary purpose in coming to the board is to bang your political drum then you're using the wrong board.

My purpose is to encourage unity among the members of the VRCC.  If your purpose is to enhance division then you and I are at opposing causes.

Same folks over and over and over again.

I never started a political thread. I added to a thread. Once. All my posts pulled. I am just looking to chat about bikes. If my input isn't welcome let me know. Someone even pulled the pics of my bike. Nothing political about a pic of a bike. I reposted the pic. If it disappears again I'll get the point and disappear too.

I just looked back and ALL of my posts were wiped. I posted maybe 6 in the short time here. Now there is 3. The 3 I posted today.

Your pics are all out of focus. (At least for me) Likely due to photo bucket. Try post image, works much better.  cooldude

Don't take it personally, Rox. And welcome to the forum.  From what I can tell, when the forum crashed, it appears they had to go to some backup from several days ago. It appears we "lost" about 5 days worth of everything. You, me, and everyone else. All posts from about 5 days or so.
