a quote from the attic rat yesterday. He did a bunch of preventive maintainence and a new rear tire, new grips with much longer brake and clutch handles ..he redid several things that were done improperly by other Honda Dealerships. He got my tank repainted after the  usual mishaps of 17 years. Everything written here about him is true--the true Valkyrie guru--I got his performance package of course ....he wouldn't speculate on the horsepower issue per se but gave the above appraisal. The car magazines said a 4% horsepower gain can be expected with work similar to what he does--he says Dyno's aren't reliable as even tire pressure can change #'s a lot. One of our members recently posted a 123 rear wheel HP with the Viking headers which I also have. Anyway super guy and apparently has a stash of some 15-18 bikes with apparently some nice ones.I get to drive up tomorrow thru rain to  Tulsa Ok. to pick'er up and back to Dallas with my baby. Hopefully I will get another 60k miles or more in the next 17 years--I'll be pushing on 80 then cooldude
