This is really good news and may be the beginning of some real punishment to those involved. The headline says it all.

If anything comes of this, expect a big mass shooting, terrorist attack, or something else to distract everyone from the fact that Epstein didn't kill himself and the Democrats are currently plotting a coup in a basement in our capitol.

1st thing I thought as well.

They allowed someone to withhold and destroy evidence as their staff pled the 5th on multiple occasions, and they ran for president.  Another openly leaked false information to the press in order to set a witch hunt in motion, and this person wrote a book and is reaping monetary gain.  Another was allowed to utilize a government agency against political opponents.  AND NOTHING WAS DONE.  Nobody held accountable.  And they give speeches and interviews in which they blatantly lie about it all and their roles in it.

The ruling delivered a major legal victory to House Democrats, undercutting arguments by President Trump and Republicans that the investigation is a sham.

The House Judiciary Committee is lawfully entitled to view secret grand jury evidence gathered by the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, Judge Beryl A. Howell of the Federal District Court for the District of Columbia ruled in a 75-page opinion. Attorney General William P. Barr had withheld the material from lawmakers.

Can't say I find the Inquiry a good thing but the biggest problem I have is the "secret" behind closed doors issue.   This should be a transparent investigation.   I have no doubt the Dems will drag this out as long as possible, I fully expect a vote to impeach shortly before the 2020 election.

Their game plan is so frigg'n obvious...………   Don't have facts?   Then just make accusations, keep the public in the dark, grow those mushrooms in that horse crap, it still smells to high heaven.   I'm not suggesting President Trump hasn't done something but he (at least) wasn't caught on a hot mic telling the Russians that after the next election, he could be more "flexible".   Where was the Dem ourtage then?  Give me a frick'n break.....

That's the way this stage of the inquiry works. Evidence is gathered without the circus of open session. These are depositions, just like any other investigation.

Do some Googling, you'll find Graham and Gowdy both affirming this. With Graham, you have to go back to '98. Of course,  he's now singing a different tune.

Be careful what you wish for. It will go to the Senate for trial soon enough. Our President will have every opportunity to defend himself.

Please enlighten me.   What (besides an open and transparent inquiry/investigation) do you believe I'm looking/wishing for?

I do wish Speaker Pelosi and Justice RBG would leave their positions one way or another and truthfully, I really don't care how that happens.

Edited:  BTW, thank you for the "our".

I expect to see an appeal. An appeal that the Trump administration would win. The Constitution gives the House sole impeachment power. They have voted no 3 times.

The point is that the House already had 3 votes on the issue of impeachment. The current attempt is to undermine the will of the House.

And don’t forget to leak bits and pieces of testimony, with some taken out of context, to paint the worst possible picture.  Create the false narrative and bolster it with leaks.

This is truly a dog and pony show, they received access to the Mueller Docs to see if they can get Trump on obstruction rather than the original charges involving the Ukraine, since they proved unfounded.

If it does get a vote then it may still be a dead issue since its the Senate that has the power to proceed on any thing the House puts forward.

This may get very interesting, since there are already indictments on many and they may get revealed before anything concrete happens. I believe the Trump team has some plan up their sleeves since the response and defense to the judge was according to her, "was below adequate and lacking".

Just some more information:

They gave the House “the sole power of impeachment;” the Senate, “the sole power to try all impeachments;” and the chief justice of the Supreme Court the duty of presiding over impeachment trials in the Senate.

The president, under the Constitution, can be removed from office for “treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.” What exactly that means is unclear. Historically, it can encompass corruption and other abuses, including trying to obstruct judicial proceedings.

No president has ever been removed as a direct result of impeachment. One, President Richard Nixon, resigned before he could be removed. Two, presidents Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton, were impeached by the House, but not convicted by the Senate.

Rep. Dan Crenshaw tries to see the information and reveals the rules:

Speaking on not being able to see the information and the rules that are in place and not being followed.

https://twitter.com/RepDanCrenshaw/status/1187090938759393280/video/1

Another interesting point:

Below is just a little information on who is Beryl Alaine Howell, the Chief United States District Judge that handed the decision to review the Mueller docs?

https://www.bustle.com/p/who-is-beryl-howell-the-dc-judge-has-trumps-future-in-her-hands-75787

Ever since it was reported that Special Counsel Robert Mueller is using a D.C.-based grand jury in his investigation into links between the Russian government and any members of President Donald Trump's campaign, tension surrounding the case has been high. Because grand juries typically operate in quiet, out of the public eye, normally a lot goes under the radar, including the key players. But you may have heard the name Beryl Howell in the Russia investigation grand jury, and may be wondering about her role.

U.S. District Chief Judge Howell is reportedly the judge who likely signed off on Mueller's request for a grand jury in D.C. and will oversee the process, according to The Daily Beast. She's the one who will be making the determinations about things like whether subpoenas will be enforced or whether Trump-adjacent members of the campaign will be able to get out of testifying under oath.

Former President Barack Obama appointed Howell to the D.C. District Court in 2010. And former President George W. Bush appointed her to the U.S. Sentencing Commission in 2004, where she served until 2012. She's worked as the chief judge in D.C. for more than a year now.

It is, what it is.   I consider both to be a cancer on our country.
Of course, those departures need to be legal or natural causes but, as I said.
