The BBQ turned out great.  Thank you!  You guys and gals are what makes this event so great.  The weather was perfect, Clear and 70 degrees.
Eleven people joined us for dinner, Friday evening, at the Golden Corral.  We had a good meal and swapped stories.
Friday night at midnight, I got up and put the brisket on the smoker.  I went back to bed about one and just laid there, worrying about all the things that could go wrong with the brisket.  Power failure to coyotes stealing the meat went through my mind.  I did get a few hours sleep but was up again at six to check on things.  Everything was good.
Saturday morning, shortly after 10:00, people started showing up to hang out and kick some tires.  We had a couple of new people join us, Walter and Randy.  Walter has only had his Valkyrie for a month and Randy moved to Gilbert, AZ. from Colorado.  Chuck (F6Banger) and Tim from New Mexico came. Sam from Nevada brought his daughter.
Lunch time, Smoked brisket, Italian sausage, baked beans, home made macaroni & cheese, potato salad, and rolls.  Ron brought coconut cream pies and a cherry pie (thank you Ron), and someone brought a cake, I'm sorry but don't know who, but thank you. We had 30 people come but there was plenty of food for all.
After lunch people hung out and swapped more stories.  We got reacquainted with old friends and made some new ones.  This is my favorite part, just hanging out with good friends.  The party broke up near dusk and it was sad saying all our good byes, but we had a great time.
A big thank you to my wife, Donna for allowing me to do this and for all her hard work, and a thank you to all that came.  You make this party awesome!

Your attention to detail really shows.  I love your piece of heaven you and Donna have built.

The best hours of my life have been with the wind in my face and my hands on the grips of a Valkyrie.

I was so glad I was able to come.
