An opinion: Victory made the best V-twin in North America (Cross Country Tour) and forced H-D to compete with changes that were needed so as not to be left behind, much to the benefit of their buyers.
A shame that Victory did not get the lion's share of the market, but you can't compete with a brand and imaged class of riders about the superiority of their machines. There's only so much room available in the sales world. Then along came the return of Indian and Victory's fate was sealed.
Great prices on Victory tourers will stretch well into the next five years or longer; they are as bulletproof as our Valkyries. I've never heard anything derogatory about their ride or performance.
