In looking at the two wheelers that are available with and eye towards bying a two wheeler and having it trike'd out, I have noticed a LOT of Runes on the market Most with very low miles......

I got thinkin' (ALWAYS A DANGEROUS THING to have happen just ask the wife or the boss) and wondering if anybody out there has tike'd out a Rune?

I did a search and found nothing but I got to wonder why it hasn't been done yet.
Are there mechanical issues with the rune that would make it unfeasible?
Does anybody know if it has been done yet and if so are there pictures?

Just wonderin' on a Saturday afternoon....

I do like it when the Rune owners get creative. Had I found that bike affordable I would have probably liked it. Maybe one day I'll pick up a used one in the future.

Standard "To each their own" disclaimers apply of course, but I gotta agree... They Rune'd 'em... (Sorry, couldn't help it)...

Dogg and Serk:  Gotta agree.  Do anything major to a Rune and you get a RUIN!

several have triked their Runes...and are on the Rune board (www.runeriders.com) .  One is over in Europe....and has a handicap...and the trike allows him to still ride. one is in the Midwest...and feels more comfortable with the weight on the trike. etc.

While i aggree....i PERSONALLY would not trike a Rune.........i NEVER, EVER judge another man's bike. As long as it works for them. i wouldn't put bags on a RUne either, but MANY have. i wouldn't put a passenger seat/pegs on it....but MANY have.

BUt then, i wouldn't own/ride a GOld Wing either.........but MANY have  cooldude  And, for long riding....it's probably THE bike to have. But alas, my days of doing LONG rides are LONG gone. And i trailer most long 'destinations' i go to. MANY would not...............

again, i'm not gonna' judge another man's ride.........nor his wife..........nor  his choice of pets/dogs  2funny crazy2
