Well I committed to the seller today to buy his beautiful 14 F6B. It is a Yellow/Black eye catcher. The owner has really taken care of it with only 11k miles and many upgrades. A BIG SHOUT OUT to my Valk buddy in Ft. Myers, Flsix / Jeff McKay who went to check it out for me. My early Christmas present to myself.

Yep,Britt is right, that is a Wing. The F6B will be on the bike and it has no trunk. That is a nice looking Wing at really good price though. Thanks

F6B also has a different fairing than a Wing. It was 2 ribs on the side not one, You will love your new bike! That's a Wing. Yep,Britt is right, that is a Wing. The F6B will be on the bike and it has no trunk. That is a nice looking Wing at really good price though. Thanks

That bike is a little confusing to me. At first I thought thats just a Gold Wing. It has a Wing seat ,trunk and exhaust tips. But then I look closer and I see an F6B fairing (one rib, my Wing has two) black wheels and valve covers, no CB controls on the left bar , no passenger floor boards and heated grip controls on the right fairing like an F6B. Hmmm... someone would have spent alot of money to make this mostly a Wing. The entire rear end including the bags is definitely from a Wing. (i.e antenna location) Maybe wrecked and reassembled as a full Wing? F6B also has a different fairing than a Wing. It was 2 ribs on the side not one, You will love your new your new B!

F6B was two ribs Wing has one. That dealership buys most of their cycle from auctions. They get some questionable bikes at times but they have a large selection of over 600 bikes for sale.

My mistake on the fairing...but something about that bike just seems off. No matter! F6B was two ribs Wing has one. That dealership buys most of their cycle from auctions. They get some questionable bikes at times but they have a large selection of over 600 bikes for sale.

maybe the guy who had it wanted to confuse you all? It is a little odd though if it is an F6B why go thru all that work to mostly make it a goldwing? why not just buy a goldwing from the get go? I was confused as well not knowing all what you all know about ribs, etc. since all I have to compare is my 2001 valk I/S which is ONE of a kind not to be confusing, right???

That looks like an F6B with a lot of Wing parts. The wheels and frame definitely look like an F6B. I don't think the black wheel and trim color scheme was available on the full Wing until 2015, on some anniversary edition models. The dash looks like an early F6B without cruise. The bags look like an F6B or late model Wing. The fairing, side covers, and trunk all are from a Wing. The trunk's taillights are the style found on the very early Wings.
Maybe the F6B had some crash damage and they used a Wing for replacement parts. Or maybe the owner just wanted to make the F6B into a better tourer. Whatever, it looks like they did a very professional job.

Agreed! It might ride like a lumber wagon but it appears to be well conceived if, that’s what you like. Definitely not qualified to make a judgement call on this. Yesterday I was taking pics of all the bikes at Jerry and Mural’s (Bigwolf and Crazy Bitch) anniversary event. (Same time as the Veterans Day Ride) I couldn’t help but notice how each bike was “personalized”. BTW, if you missed that party, you missed a very good time. Rams

I think what happened here is maybe a wreck of some kind and a mix of parts. Notice how you dont see the right hand or brake side controls. That is where the cruise control woould be, but you do see the right side that covers the radiator cap.Notice the grip warmer switch f6b. Looks to be a mix of parts that started as a 13 or 14 f6b.. Really guys would be willing to put money on that one.

That right there (including color) is the only bike I've even considered buying since I've had my Valks.

That does look sharp in Yellow and Black. Is it a stock colour? Wasn't aware of that colour if it is. I'm with Jess... F6B would be my choice for a bike other than my Valk.

Thanks I think it's pretty sharp too! It is a 14 w/ 11k miles and with some nice up grades too. I do know that it is a stock color a least for the 14. I spotted a couple others but not with the upgrads this gentleman has done. It doesn't have stock exhaust, LED's all around, the center console has a cup holder & a skid plate on bottom of the bike to protect the underside.

Beautiful! And you will love the way it handles. With the exception of the latest gen Gold Wing which I have not ridden extensively the F6B is the best handling Honda I have ridden. Nice low center of gravity, turns like its on rails. Congrats!

As I remember, the F6B came in 6 different colors over the 4 years it was made: red, black, yellow, blue, matte gray, and matte white. They all had enough black trim to make them essentially two tone color schemes. The blue and yellow are very rare. In fact, I've only seen one in yellow, and it had been repainted by Honda of Russellville. As others have said, the F6B is the closest thing to the original Valkyrie you can get. I've owned two, in red and matte white. They're a bit short on luggage space for two-up touring unless you add a trunk but otherwise are outstanding and very Valkyrie-like. Here's my current F6B: And, the previous one:

Great looking bikes in all colors. I use to favor the Red/Blk. After seeing the yellow/blk though my mind was made up. However, my second choice was the matte white/Black. There was a Blue/Blk in Tampa, I believe I saw it on CL.

I got my F6B delivered to me on Thursday afternoon. It was a misty/rainy day. I rolled it right in the garage. Bummer it rained on Friday. Today Sat. morning was the day. I'm loving my new to me 2014 F6B. Why did i wait so long to get one. Our Sat. RTE with about 5 of the 8 able to make it congratulated me on my purchase. Then putting on a 200 mile ride with Jeff / Christj and my cousin John both on their Valks made a awesome ride with clear sky's and 65 degree day. It is so smooth and strong. I'm a Happy guy.
