Went to buy some rear brake pads

It's about time to replace the brake pads on the back of the bike, so I swung by the local Honda shop. The new owners seem better than the last set of new owners. I still haven't decided if I like them as much as I liked the family that ran it for decades before, but that is another rant for another time.
The new Honda shop owners have bought the Yam/Suz/Kaw dealer in town and consolidated about a week ago, so they were packed with new and used bikes. I took a stroll before heading to the parts counter. Every time a sales person eagerly ran out of their glass offices to ask if I needed help, I smiled, and said, "No, I own a Valk." Each time the sales person just said, "That's a great bike, if I can answer any questions let me know, but I don't think we have anything like a Valk in here." They were very friendly.
At the parts counter I had to wait in line for a while, but when I stepped up to the counter the sales guy gave me all the time I wanted and didn't rush me. I liked him too. After he brought me the brake pads (which they had in stock!) he asked if I'd had the bike a while. He thought he'd recognized me having been in before. I told him I had. He asked if I had had any trouble with it. Nope, brake pads and tires mostly (besides things that I have screwed up myself that wasn't Honda's fault). He said he'd always heard good things about them. He also said that they were constantly getting calls from people looking for used Valks. He said it was probably the one most requested bike.
Sounds about right.

I get about the same re-action at the local dealer - they keep asking me if I'm ready to sell, but I keep telling them they don't have anything I want
They said they could sell my Valk easily - but then what would I ride
