My Cobra floorboards are the same way.
In hard leans, they drag and come up under my foot. I always lift my foot off to decrease the underside damage; they're already ground down to a 45 degree angle under there.
Neither have the feelers underneath the OE pegs have.
The Kuryakyn pegs on my engine guards have to be torqued down hard enough to the clevis to stay up (when I want them up), so they don't flop down.
It's been so long I can't remember, but don't the OE pegs have a clip spring of some kind? If so, I doubt they can be made to work with your Iso Wings. They do need to be able to come up, lest they get snapped off in a fall or tip-over or hard drag.
I think the Kuryakyn Dually Iso Pegs are about the closest to Valk OE Kuryakyn sells. (you have to get pegs without ends, and Valk adapters for use at driver or passenger positions)
You can see a spring in there (not a Valk), but I don't know if they come with them or if it's using the OE spring. (they don't have feelers either)
