I noticed this about two months ago. many Christian retreats and other such locations no longer show up even when zooming up on the location with their highlighted name/title. building and roads are there but name of building doesn't show up.

anybody aware of a new policy for some reason? I haven't read anything.

Haven't read or heard anything, but the rats scurry around in the walls while we sleep.. Mark Cyst rats..

Churches in my area are displayed, including the Name and Cross Symbol... Synagogues with the Name and Star of David. I needed to scope in quite close on my PC before they appeared, and in many instances before stores appeared in that same location...same deal with my Android Phone. Far as I can tell they haven't cancelled places of worship...yet.

Google (And other big-tech) definitely have some serious bias issues, but this doesn't appear to be one of them, just a few casual looks I did:











I even did some informal testing with zooming in and out to see if Christian based businesses would appear or disappear at different zoom levels from other institutions on the map and noted no differences at all.

I don't think that it is just Christian based locations. Something I have noticed with googlemaps is that when you zoom in on a town, the name of the town disappears. Zoom out one click and it is there. Zoom back in and it is there. Same thing happens to road names. Also, since I am complaining about this, the text for street/highway names is very small. Zoom in to be able to read the name and the text stays the same size it was. There color choices also leave a lot to be desired. I have searched for a specific address in googlemaps, mapblast, and mapquest and they are not always shown in the same location. Sometimes mules apart. Ok, my rant is over Smiley
