Are any of you Dark Siders running a CT on the rear of your Valk with 11-1/2" shocks? I would like to lower the rear of my 2001 Interstate which is a permanent SoloValk but really like running Dark Side.

You shouldn't have any problem doing that. I wouldn't go with anything taller that a 60 profile. A 55 profile will affect the rpm's a few hundred, but is definitely a shorter tire.

Thanks Ricky. I am currently running a Hankook Optimo 195/60 R16 on my other Interstate with 13" Progressive 440 shocks.  I took a look at the clearance on it today and it looks like the 11.5" shocks will work fine after doing the nut cage mod. I just pulled the trigger on the used 11.5" Progressive shocks with the optional heavy duty springs.

I realize this is an older post, but wondering if the OP is still here......how did the 11.5 shocks work out?  I'd like to do the same to mine.

lowering that low will cause the tire to hit the fender were it clears the upper shock cross frame support bar when hitting bumps.
I hit it with a 205/65-16 tire and with the OEM I/S shocks set on too low of a setting.
