If you do not reach out to those some consider an enemy it is impossible to proceed to peace without mutual destruction. If someone is hell bent on your death, you do not have to do that but in american politics we dont have that (I hope) sick mentality that say the Islamic Fundamentalists have
The Republicans did not try from the moment of his election to impeach the manchurian candidate that was Obama, (though they fairly looked into where he was really born, what he did in school and were stiff armed)
However the Democrat and Socialist pretenders have tried to overthrow an election since the first day In my book that makes them seditious and treasonous
In spite of everything, and what he is (if you are remotely correct) Mr. Trump has advanced us back from the brink of defeat to strength. He has put millions to work, put more money in our pocket (well he has taken thousands from mine with the cap on property tax deductions), kept us out of global wars and done it without the help of the bought and paid for press by using social media (showing he learned from Obama's playbook)
I used to dislike the man with the TV show but I like him a lot now and had a Trump sign on my lawn last election. Wish he would shut up sometimes but his policies are spot on Why are you not concerned with the FACT that Biden threatened and is on TV admitting he tried to interfere with aid to help his son steal (what do you call his no show job) or Kerry's son or Pelosi's or for that matter any socialist in congress?
I have done my damndest to stay out of this thread. But, we are friends and I feel I can speak honestly with you. There is much I would dispute in your post. But, I will just throw out one thing. Most, if not all of the people who are testifying about Trump’s dishonesty and deceptions are people he hired. Not Democrats, not never Trumpers, but conservatives and Republicans. To lay this at the feet of the Democrats is just plain wrong. Had Trump not tried to coerce the Ukrainians into digging up dirt on a political opponent with the threat of losing arms for the war with Russia, we wouldn’t be in this mess. Pelosi would not start proceedings with everything brought out in the Mueller report or with him profiting personally from foreign governments. She was dragged into it reluctantly by him. I never thought I would see the day when conservatives would be okay with a candidate receiving help from Russian or Ukrainian governments. So, you're OK with Hunter Biden receiving $50k/mo for a job that he wasn't qualified for and never actually did. But, you're not OK with President Trump asking for it to be investigated, because Joe Biden is running for President. Has it not occurred to you that the money Hunter Biden was being paid came from aide $$ ? President Trump was totally doing his job by asking that this be investigated before he sent any more money to Ukraine. Furthermore, Nobody has ever said that President Trump asked anyone to lie or make up false evidence, he simply asked them to look for the truth. Maybe, he should've asked them to come up with a false dossier instead. Democrats don't seem to have a problem with that. No, I’m not ok with cronyism. But, that is a far cry from foreign governments aiding a candidate in an election. So, if someone is running for office they should get a free pass on any crimes that they may have committed if the proof of those crimes comes from a foreign government? Sorry, I just can't follow that line of logic.

Yes of course I consider you a friend. Otherwise we would not have waited for you so long on our ride while you supported the bridge fund Once upon a time the idea that the FRENCH could help us was unthinkable Then the tea party happened. Those dastardly French were responsible for stirring up the Indian nations in their zeal to stop our expansion. Actually they helped form the kernels of the 2nd amendment, Why are you dismissing the fact that any country, even China or Russia could be approached (at any level) by a commander in chief attempting to ferret out moles in government? Why are you dismissing the possibility that that a person who is asked to help a new administration may have their own agenda, and loyalty to the previous administration or those corrupting the system? See the difference between a vice president holding up aid to help his son steal (no other word for it) just like Kerry's kid and Pelosi's kid and a POTUS looking for the smoking gun? Where is your call for Biden's head? After all we have all seen him bragging about criminal act and if he is not a criminal there is no point to ANY of the impeachment but to prevent the true work of congress from being done. As much as I dislike anything to do with Communism, I would reach out to Putin in a heartbeat if I thought it could help our national security. Such as giving him a heads up as we were attacking and killing that scumbag a few weeks ago. You were happy with that outcome as I recall. Believe it or not Russia and the USA and members of Interpol do share information behind the scenes every day It is our FBI, (in)justice dept and State that I dont trust at all. I am coming around now that Barr is at the top to trusting the A.G and always thought our military servicemen, if not the Joint Chiefs supported our Constitution without question Surely you can see the difference between a foreign government helping us (the country) and a foreign government helping an individual in an election ? 3fan, the logic is this ; having a relative gain a monetary advantage because of a relationship to a government official is “swampy”. Having a candidate using a government for personal help in an election is bounds beyond swampy, it’s illegal and subject to prison, fines, and yes, impeachment. Would you agree Ivanka’s gift from the Chinese is no less “swampy” ?

So if Trump were in his 2nd term you have no problem? really
Trump is a sitting President
The election at the time was a LONG way off. In fact it is disingenuous to assume a brand new President is doing anything for re election
Better to take off the cynicism hat and assume he is doing the work of the people, unlike Congress

One thing is for sure. Trump needs zero help from anyone or any country beating Uncle Joe. Now help with a inside job from his own countrymen is something else. Without real facts, the Democrats have no chance of getting Trump removed from office, so all they can do is sling accusations and keep the voting public in a constant state of turmoil. Real classy way to try and sway an upcoming election, most people can see it and others not so much.

So they roll out the articles knowing there is no chance at all for a senate conviction. And that's not politics, that's a square deal with no solid evidence to support any conviction for anything.
So after this, will they shut up? Probably not. Will they get back to work doing the People's business? Certainly not.
I recommend they start self immolating on the capitol steps. Just to keep up with their rich pageantry of self righteous behavior. It would be so much more entertaining than simply shooting themselves in the foot.
I bet they could work something up with the Harvard and Yale students.

Bullshit, Rob. Your hate for the elected President has blocked your access to logic and truthful facts. The Democrats have repeatedly contended that the President's interest in investigating criminal behavior by an American citizen was specifically for political gain. How did they arrive at that conclusion? He didn't say so. They don't have evidence of such incentive. By comparison (or by contrast) these repeated attempts to find an excuse for impeachment by key Democrats has a single purpose of weakening the chances of the sitting President's reelection. I find the amount of government (our) funds to specifically pursue political ends rather than doing the jobs to which they were elected deplorable. I for one will not for the remainder of my life vote for any Democrat regardless of his individual qualifications.

Know what's in your heart? I can only base my judgements on the assumed sincerity and tone of your communication. I wouldn't make a guess of your feelings. I really don't know whether you are deeply emotional or entirely cold hearted. I speak only of your behavior not of what drives that behavior. Your behavior regarding the President is repeatedly hateful. It's not hard at all for me. My primary reason for voting for the President (or against Hillary Clinton) has already been done successfully. In addition the President has done good things for my country. The lies that I see claimed by hostile Democrat representatives and the liberal media I do not find substantiated.

I took the liberty of adding the not to your phrase based on the follow up posts with the esteemed counselor in NY. I personally find it difficult if not impossible to find a worthy candidate in either major party. It is a choice of the lesser of evils in most cases. Sadly, political party has become part of the selection process since there seems to be a serious schism in political ideology and once elected, all seem to become Lemmings to the party. The Orange Man was a better candidate than HRC marginally. He is the reason I left the Republican party having been involved with two of his development projects in two different states. I find moral bankruptcy a less than compelling reason to continue to contribute to any political party. I will give the man credit for his accomplishments while in office and for actually attempting to live up to his campaign promises but still feel he is a huckster waiting to fleece the american taxpayer for personal gain. But I feel that way about most elected officials, bureaucrats and insurance adjusters.

I'm very curious what the reaction would be if the parties were reversed.
I am surprised at you, and your lack of memory, many feel we have lived through 8 years of a worse mess. Rust Belt Voters On Trump: ‘I’d Vote For Him Again In A Heartbeat’ The thing I really dont understand is regardless if you like Trump or not, look at some of the policies he has put forward and see that most have helped the US as a whole. Why would anyone want a party that stops the work of Congress, wants to tax till there is no more private money, restrict guns, allow unchecked mass immigration, give mass amounts of money to those who dont have jobs. It just does not make sense that any would come out to support these ideas. Yet we are going back and forth with them, really? Regardless if you like a person in office, if he is against these ideas and is trying to pull back from the edge of a socialist state and yet you look at the person and not the actions and say I cannot support him is beyond reason. I feel pretty confident that any person could list policy changes Trump has made and say its a benefit to our country. But if you want to cry because of a false claim he took money or needed anyone's help then then you cannot argue emotions. As one example of a successful policy: The critics of President Trump's Iran policy have been proven wrong: the US sanctions are imposing significant pressure on the ruling mullahs of Iran and the ability to fund their terror groups. Obama gave Iran millions in CASH, Trump is effectively turning off the faucet of terrorism, through not being corrupted, not folding like a house of cards, not giving away the US sovereignty or resources to bad players for self gain. Saudis Welcome Trump’s Rebuff of Obama’s Mideast Views For a bit of a interesting look I have listed a site that list the books offered by Obama and Trump, and the contrast is stunning. Its kind of a fun look at the staggering difference of not only a president but the ones that hold him in high esteem. It shows who the person is, and what he believes and what he has accomplished in terms stated by his own books, and it also says alot about the reader base. https://www.amazon.com/Donald-J.-Trump/e/B001H6O8M2%3Fref=dbs_a_mng_rwt_scns_sharehttps://www.amazon.com/Barack-Obama/e/B001H6OA8EGiuliani reacts to impeachment inquiry after series of hearings https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=69&v=u8WJtT3vINE&feature=emb_logo

What monetary advantage did President Trump stand to gain? It will cost more money to get him re-elected than his salary will add up to. And he has been donating that money to charity anyway. On the other hand, presidential candidate Joe Biden has gained considerably from his involvement in the Ukraine. But, yet you seem more than willing to turn a blind eye to that. And it is very likely that those $$'s came from the American taxpayers. I had heard nothing about a gift to Ivanka Trump. A Google search of "Chinese gift to Ivanka Trump" brought up a few articles about the Chinese government granting her 5 patents. Those patents had been applied for in 2017. She already held 30 patents in China. I really think that there is nothing to see there. I will say this, if you're view of President Trump is influenced by anything that you see or read in the MSM then your view is clouded. I watched some of the so called hearings this week and the talking heads that came on afterwards trying to tell me what I heard couldn't have been more biased or off base. Everything they said that the witness said, was so far away from what was actually said. That it was as if they had written a script before the testimony and were determined to use that no matter what the witness actually said. There has never been a time in history when the media could be less trusted than now. Walter Cronkite must be rolling over in his grave daily. As a sidebar: I used to consider myself to be a Democrat. From the time that I could vote, I voted Democrat in almost every election. I used to think that the Democratic party held some values that were at least close to my own. Somewhere along the way the Democratic party and it's beliefs swung so far to the left that it left me and my beliefs/values way behind. So like Willow, I don't see myself ever voting for another Democrat not even if he's running for dogcatcher. The Dems have proven to me that they cannot be trusted on any level. This current fiasco in congress is solely politically motivated. They are so scared that President Trump is going to get re-elected that they are willing to waste millions of tax $$'s trying to prove something that they know they can't. The current congress has done nothing except try to discredit and impeach the duly elected President even before he took the oath of office. Yet, the President has been getting things done. Good things that have helped every citizen of this country. My support of President Trump is somewhat partisan because there is nothing left for me at the Democratic party. But, mostly he has my support is because he has done and is doing great things for our country. And as long as what he is doing is making this country better and stronger, he will have my support. And to those with TDS, I say open your eyes and look around you. This country is in much better shape than it was 4yrs ago and you don't have to look very far to see that.

If you do not reach out to those some consider an enemy it is impossible to proceed to peace without mutual destruction. If someone is hell bent on your death, you do not have to do that but in american politics we dont have that (I hope) sick mentality that say the Islamic Fundamentalists have

I never thought I would see the day that the democrats are fine with their constituents making money from foreign governments behind the scenes then blaming the other party for investigating them.

1) I don't know about democrats, but I'm not ok with it. 2) Hunter Biden didn't make money from the government of Ukraine, it was a private oil company. 3) https://www.nytimes.com/2019/10/11/us/politics/donald-trump-jr-eric-trump-business.html The Trump business did actually. [/quote] Even a cursory look into Burisma shows what I would consider an unusually high amount of US politicians with connections to this company. Choose your political party. Some family, some prior associates in previous administrations. This just stinks on its face. It is likely a political hornet nest and Trump is a pokin it.

Ever since former potus to current POTUS Not one of us has been able to change the others minds with the parties being polar opposites. What I personally know is I like the current POTUS for what he is trying to do regarding the U S of A. Some of his foot shooting not so much. 2 years into first term of former potus I was putting up with him. Illegal entry into the U S of A at an all time low I've read here and there. Unemployment at an all time low I've read here and there. The ds gotta be Super P Od at what he IS gittin done as they've been tryin to git rid of D J T since they realized hrc was NOT gonna be prez. Donald Trump to the ds must be like a white hot suppository with razor blades for them. But I could be like not correct. RIDE SAFE.

Yeah,, all the preaching about how green we should be from the left and then they go abroad and take money from an oil and gas company? WTH

Interesting how you equate getting approval on expanding a golf course with another business partner by Trump. With Hunter Biden being paid 50k a month for sitting on a board doing nothing with no expertise of a foreign corporation. We have an agreement with the Ukraine for joint investigations and it sure sounds like a hit job on Trump for investigating Biden. The real corruption of the Bidens is coming out even while Joe Biden was VP. It sure sounds like he used Hunter to collect on promises and positions while Joe Biden was VP. If Joe Biden had not been VP this may have all been investigated under RICO and influence peddling. How could it even physically be possible in spreading yourself so thin so as to be in a having a baby then in a paternity suit, on the board of US and foreign corporations and still run your own personal day to day affairs? Yet still receiving 50k a month for awhile from Burisma. Sounds exactly like the Clinton Foundations claims that now is 46 mill short since Hillary LOST. This is from your article:Donald Trump Jr. speaking with his family’s business partner in Indonesia, the billionaire Hary Tanoesoedibjo, at an August event promoting two resorts.Credit... Last month, the Trump family business received approval from a local government in Scotland for a major expansion of its golf resort near Aberdeen, marking the largest real estate development financed by the Trump Organization since the 2016 election. This is what this impeachment inquiry is all about:House Speaker Nancy Pelosi launched an impeachment inquiry after a whistleblower’s complaint showed that President Trump asked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate Joe Biden, a Democratic presidential candidate, and his son, who worked for Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian natural gas company. https://nypost.com/2019/10/15/hunter-biden-breaks-silence-on-foreign-dealings/This is special favors for the TALF loans that the goverment gave out to mostly unknown connected individuals that were supposed to bail out the economy with NO COST to them:Hunter Biden-linked company received $130M in special federal loans while Joe Biden was vice president Term Asset-Backed Securities Loan Facility, or TALF. If the bonds were profitable, the borrowers benefited. If not, the department agreed to take over the depreciated assets with no repercussions for the borrowers. “It's very complicated to become qualified as a TALF borrower or as a TALF fund, if you will,” Carol Pepper, a wealth management specialist, told Forbes in 2009. “But that's an example of where, if you can get into a TALF fund, you can benefit from this government program.” Joe Biden was a key advocate for the financial bailout, which was approved under the Bush administration and expanded under President Barack Obama. He delayed his Senate resignation in January 2009 to cast his final vote to increase funding for the Troubled Asset Relief Program before taking office as vice president. One of the firms that benefited was Rosemont Capital, a company led by Hunter Biden’s business partners, Chris Heinz and Devon Archer. The firm received the loans at a crucial time for Hunter BidenOne of the firms that benefited was Rosemont Capital, a company led by Hunter Biden’s business partners, Chris Heinz and Devon Archer. An investment firm linked to Hunter Biden received over $130 million in federal bailout loans while his father Joe Biden was vice president and routed profits through a subsidiary in the Cayman Islands, according to federal banking and corporate records reviewed by the Washington Examiner. Financial experts said the offshore corporate structure could have been used to shield earnings from U.S. taxes. https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/politics/hunter-biden-linked-company-received-130m-in-special-federal-loans-while-joe-biden-was-vp?utm_source=breaking_push&utm_medium=app&utm_campaign=push_notificationsThis is the scandal on Bruisma:
The younger Biden – who’s embroiled in a paternity scandal – sat on the Burisma board from April 2014 until earlier this year, for which he was reportedly paid as much as $50,000 a month. On Wednesday, the same day Time published its report, Ukrainian Prosecutor General Ruslan Ryaboshapka said his probe of Bursima had widened to include the suspected “theft of government funds on an especially large scale” by company founder Mykola Zlochevsky, Reuters reported. Ryaboshapka said Zlochevsky, a multimillionaire former minister of ecology and natural resources, was previously the subject of 13 investigations that he began reviewing after taking office in late August. Those probes involve suspected tax violations, money-laundering and the licenses Burisma was awarded when Zlochevsky was a government minister, Reuters said. He added that Hunter would not serve on the boards of foreign-owned companies if his father wins the 2020 presidential election. https://nypost.com/2019/11/22/impeachment-inquiry-may-be-complicating-ukraines-burisma-probe/https://nypost.com/2019/10/15/hunter-biden-breaks-silence-on-foreign-dealings/A great article on the time line to: Timeline of alleged “sabotage” of Trump in 2016 by Democrats, Ukraine https://sharylattkisson.com/2019/11/timeline-of-alleged-sabotage-of-trump-in-2016-by-democrats-ukraine/Both Politico and Yahoo News interviewed a Democratic National Committee (DNC) consultant named Alexandra Chalupa. A Ukrainian-American, Chalupa reportedly acknowledged in a 2017 interview with Politico that she worked as a consultant for the Democratic National Committee during the 2016 campaign to publicly expose Trump campaign aide Paul Manafort’s links to pro-Russian politicians in Ukraine. On March 25, 2016, according to Politico, Chalupa–who previously worked in the Clinton administration–met with top Ukrainian officials at the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington D.C. in an effort to tarnish the Trump campaign in favor of Hillary Clinton by exposing “ties between Trump, top campaign aide Paul Manafort and Russia.”

An article that says Trump has told 14,000 lies, but doesn't tell us any of these supposed lies. I guess they are just presuming he lied, or someone heard something that he lied, about and told someone, who told someone else, who told a friend of mine, who told me.

Too bad shitty Schiff is losing support. I hearby go on record and say Pelosi will not go forth with a vote to impeach. There is nothing there, all they have done is tarnish the Democrat party to the point that even their own constituents stopped supporting their cause.

Not true and not true. Would those count as lies? FEW

I just gave you evidence using the same site Rob used to show you that your boy BO was no better at telling the truth then you perceive Trump to be. So you deflect back to Trump. Typical liberal. Democrats are saints and all GOP politicians lie through their teeth. Bottom line the country is doing great. Economy is booming . Unemployment is at the lowest it has been in over 40 years. There are less people on welfare now then during the entire 8 years of Obama. So you need to pull your head out of the sand and look around and give the man a freaking chance. But you won't do that because you Rob and John have TDS so bad you can't see straight....

You're wrong. It was originally about the stupidity of the so called impeachment investigation. Somebody then brought up loosely related attacks on the President. Someone then brought up accusations of lying as a character assassination. The transition to a past President who lied was pretty much expected as the discussion deteriorated.
