Tis the season to be jolly and enjoy some outdoors cool weather at a cool place. Bring your own food/drink and come join us at the Salt Springs recreation area this year if you can. Entrance fee is $6.50 a person, It is easier if you have one person pay for a few bikes or peeps in a group, we had some delays last year so just trying to make it a easier entry. After paying go down to the right to a large parking lot on the left. We will be there about 11 30 for some lip slappin/jaw jabbin before we walk down to some picnic tables by the crystal clear water with bubbling springs. Break bread about noon and just enjoy the day at a leisurely pace. Who's in ?

Has anybody looked at the weather forecast ??   Undecided   I sure haven't had much luck lately in calling a meet up ride on a good weather day.   Embarrassed   Still time to decide but I was wondering if Sunday might work for some folks.  ???   Downside to that is Liz has to work and I know Jerry/Sherry can't make that.  Cry   The 21st is too close to Christmas so January cometh as well. I will post a more decisive plan Friday eve, until then chime in your thoughts pls.   Wink

According to the forecast I go by it would be around 80f and a 36% chance of rain.
Will keep an eye on it.

My weather app is telling me rain Friday night into early morning Saturday, it’s showing Weeki Wachee and parts North to be sunny.
I’m a go for this ride, I was wondering if there was going to be a meet up somewhere
Maybe The world famous dumpster ?

We will know more tomorrow evening, and we are trending more to yes. New Corbin for Wing came today so we would surely like to give it a go.    Evil

Latest I see now is 75f and 53% chance on Saturday.
That was for Ft. McCoy just next door to Salt Springs.

Severe weather warnings for Central Florida!
Starting around 4AM and lasting possibly until 9AM. This was from the Fox News Orlando station. Extending North to around Palm Coast.
Not sure what it will be like once it blows through and may still be a go but by all means take a look at it if leaving super early.

If I try to make this one, I will have to wait and check the weather report in the morning.  I’m in the Kissimmee area, almost to St. Cloud.  It will take me a couple of hours to get there.

Unless there’s a major change in the weather, I’ll be there. Should be good weather after 8-9:00

I don't know who is going, so there is a meet up area great.
If not can I get an address to the park to put into my GPS.

Got woken up by tornado warnings at 5;30 and a lightning storm that knocked power out for a few minutes but it is all clear now, might have to ride thru a few poodles tho.   Grin

Thank you Larue, I pulled it up on my maps. Even better my older GPS has the route stored in it from 2 years ago. Unless otherwise I’ll head out about 9:30 am, plan on stopping at the dumpster about 10.
Patti is a no go today.

Don't be to bummed Squirrel it wasn't the best gathering to get to know many folks, although I wish you could have made it. Sometimes the stars don't align but that won't discourage me from planning another one soon, maybe Alexander Springs again in January. They had a nice big picnic table area that we used last year. Today turned out to be a beautiful day after all, Thanks Jim for the company, always great chatting with you. Hey what did the rest of y'all wind up doing ?

I started up about 10:30 from the dumpster and hit 2 Christmas parades, and on close call from a car making a left turn right next to me from the right lane. Wish I had a rock !!! The one in citrus took me an hour to get around. When my GPS said 12:58 arrival I turned back. I should have taken 75 up, but I'm not keen on the weekend before Chrismas shopping assholes.

I wanted to join you all but we are in the first week of a complete kitchen gut & remodel. I had to be home for the drywall guy that is doing our ceiling and walls today. Gotta keep this project moving forward every chance I get. I hope to make the next group get-together. Glad you guys had a good day today!

Cleaned all the Oak debris off everything from the rain and wind last night.
Climbed on the Triumph and rode downtown for a bit then back home and cleaned up the back porch. Those three little hooligan squirrels sure know how to mess up a porch!!

Thanks for trying Cowboy, I hit one of those dang parades in Hastings, must of been 20 minutes, they sure don't put the Christmas spirit in us when they hold us up for so long,  Angry  baahumbug ! get the frick outa the way.   tickedoff    watch out for these crazed shoppers as well.
Dan sounds like the house is getting the gifts this year, see ya next time.
Pappy those 3 lil critters sure get spoilt by you 2 but that's what we like to see. wished you guys could have made it tho, maybe next time.  cooldude

There was absolutely zero way that Lesa could have gotten away. Her two anchors were in full swing today.
