Factory Pro Steve Brown Replica Kit
«

Has anyone used the Factory Pro Steve Brown Replica Kit airbox kit? I know it heavily modifies the air box lid and uses the drop in K&N. Does it use the stock oem exhaust? Has anyone used this kit? What was your experience? Did you lose any low or midrange? Did anyone dyno afterwards? It claims an added 8 to 10 hp up top. How badly did your mileage drop?
I would prefer to hear from those with experience with this. Thanks!

You asked if the stock filter will work. Yes it will but you'll get water in the intake with his mod. Don't do it. Many have tried to open up the intake to no avail. Most had to buy a new box top to fix the experiment.

I've never heard of that kit. What I have heard since I got my Valkyrie in '07 is that you're asking for trouble if you modify the factory airbox.
Honda has lots of smart people engineering their systems. Unless Steve Brown is either a former Honda engineer or modifies other systems to accommodate the effects of modifying the airbox, I'd stay away.
