I Ride P G R at times with a Gal who was a Nurse in Nam. And She IS very Crusty. She sends me a Lot of Pro Trump stuff. This one I believe is based on an older beer commercial.       President Trump states-I don't always get impeached.     But when I do I get reelected. RIDE SAFE.

Robert, that's a riot. I just sent it to my girls and a close friend that's a dedicated democrat. He and I have always zinged each other politically and our respective wives would just stand there and roll their eyes.  Wink

Obviously not.  He's President.  A sixteen year old would not be eligible.  Really doesn't fit the original "joke", does it?

I assume by the implication you're trying to say the President has not kept his promises.  The impression of promises broken by a public official are often fueled by an already dislike for the individual and too often not regarding promises made to the hater.  I am very pleased with the intentions the President has been able to fulfill, especially considering the committed opposition he's faced.

The original post was made by Robert and even stated it was political.  What drove you to open it?    Smiley

The president's own reelection committee made the ad. Since he is in charge of that committee he must approve of the ad. You assume much.

Are you equally pleased with his bullying of a teenage girl ?

It is apparent to me that "teenage girl" willfully jumped on the world stage to bully everyone else. So I for one am pleased.

She put herself on that stage. All she is,is a pawn for her radical parents twisted agenda. If she can't take the heat she should get off the stage. I guess your OK with liberals using Trump's son in unfunny jokes?  He has done nothing other then being Donald Trump's son and for that they loony left won't leave him alone.

And why is it you have to post of every thread on the board?  Roberts post is funny. Just can't let it go can you? You and Bob both.

So glad the entire leftist media didn't harass this 15 year old kid even though it's obvious he's so full of hate.

To answer your question I see no bullying of a teenage girl but I am pleased with President Donald Trump.  Your definition of bullying must differ from what I understand.

To the rest of your statement I assume only what is obvious.  I referred to your statement, not to anything about the picture of TIME magazine.

There were two question marks in my post.  You addressed neither.  We're getting to be accustomed to that.   Wink

See how well my filters are working.  I showed no indication of how pissed I am and I called no one incredibly stupid.   Smiley

I'm glad your filters are working well today. I would feel sad if you lashed out and called me a liar again.
As to your question about my comment. It seemed pretty obvious to me. But I will explain it. Robert posted a "joke" about Trump saying he became the first female president. Being that just yesterday his reelection campaign posted an ad superimposing his head on the body of a 16 year old girl. Seemed funny, ironic to me.
Your other question was "why I opened Roberts post" (paraphrasing). I open and read most posts here.

Of course you don't see a 70 year old man trolling a 16 year old girl as bullying.

(My filter is working quite well today also)

C'mon guys, seems nearly every post that even hints at being political we have a back and forth, back and forth, back and forth similar to the above and often from the same parties. The post was funny, anything that followed wasn't.  Angry

I dislike assisting the disintegration of this thread into a two persons conversation.

I would object to a 70 year old trolling(?) a sixteen year old if I saw it.  I saw what you describe as President Trump's reelection campaign making use of and perhaps even ridiculing the cover of a magazine.

My understanding is that to be a liar one would have to knowingly and deceitfully make a false statement.  Many people make false statements.  Sometimes it is because they have chosen to lie.  Sometimes it is because they honestly believe erroneously that their statement is true.  I did not call you a liar.  That would be contrary to the Rules of the Road.

I do find it my responsibility to read petty much all that is posted on the General board.  I often go out of my way to not reply to an argumentative thread.  Now and then the effort fails.

Perhaps the tone of the board would be better if a hand full of us (both sides) would either not open or not reply to threads which we find divisively argumentative.  I do wish we all could discuss our disagreements respectfully and without resorting to ridicule.

I enjoy the threads....both sides, even the name calling...I know that if I post anything, I am opening myself up for ridicule and whatever comes my way because of it. I am a grown adult, I also know that no one would do it to my face...funny what keyboards can do...they are like guns...I guess....if you let them sit there unused, neither would cause anyone any harm...it is the individual that pulls the trigger and pushes the keys that does that...they do it knowingly....with intention...

Merry Christmas to all...flame suit is on and the chuckle icon is working... 2funny 2funny 2funny 2funny 2funny

You know, I feel bad about that. And if I haven’t apologized for it before, I do it now.  Embarrassed

Not that it makes it any better, but as I remember it I didn’t call you guys stupid. But I posted a meme of Jim Carrey and his brother in the movie they made. Like I say though, it makes it no better.
