at wally world last nite I talked w/the sporting dept cashier-a veteran- he said all the pistol ammo is 1/2 price as they are stopping those sales and  probably .223 but corporate is stewing on it...I cleaned out the .380-most is upper end defense ammo and .38 special

I usually buy bulk (1000 at a time) from Graf. They are very competitive.
Good tip on Wallyworld though!

when walmart started opening stores in NJ yrs ago they applied for dealer license, to sell guns. they did sell ammo, but stopped over ten yrs ago.  NJ NEVER approved the license, NJ walmarts never sold guns.

then NJ would not renew Kmart license to sell guns which they had for decades in NJ.
