I just read on the Corvette forum that the entire allotment of 2020 Corvettes are sold, 40,000 of them and production models will only start being built in February. In contrast less than 20,000 2018 C7 models were sold, I’m guessing they aren’t final numbers in for the 2019 model year. I’m guessing there may be some deals to be had on remaining 2019’s.

Being a day late and several dollars short has saved me from years of abuse from my spousal unit for buying a C8.   Guess I'll have to wait till next year.   Let the beatings begin.  Wink

I will take a V8 camaro (and for those wanting a mustang) over a much pricier corvette, fast enough for me, but not like I have a desire to get any of the 3 ever too hard to get in/out of.

I guess I am becoming too practical driving in my old age?     Embarrassed

A 2020 Camaro ZL1 costs 62K... just like the Corvette. There's a Jay Leno's garage about
the Corvette, it is a good episode to watch...

For now I'll stick with my 17 C7 Grand Sport not a fan of a first model of anything this new too many bug and problems.
Trust me I need my check at least for a few more years!

Yikes,  guess need to price out the new muscle cars better, no thanks on any of them then.  I was thinking 40K vs. 60K, thought wrong.

I heard the one to buy is a 2019 with the standard transmission. It should be worth more because there will be no more standards.

John,
Knowing it's almost Christmas, just wanted you to know that regardless of the color of new C8 you selected for me, I will be happy to build an appropriate garage for it.   It just won't be done till this summer.   But, I promise to keep it clean and protected until that building is completed.

There is a lot of responsibility in owning a Corvette so I may have to inspect the garage before any delivery takes place. In fact it would probably be a good idea to send detailed plans of the garage in question so any changes necessary can be made before it’s too late!

Well John,
One should expect it to be a first class space.   It will share that space with it's predecessor, my mid-engine Fieros.   2funny
