Connie, it is a holiday and I don't think the Richmond G is open that day, but I have never done this VA lobby day before so I don't know much.  The Virginia Citizens Defense League site I posted above has a lot of information (and maybe a contact point).  They're talking about an early start, but then a program of speakers at 11 on the Capitol steps, and then proceeding inside the rotunda.  So I guess the doors are to be open.

VA is open carry (though I've never seen it once where I live in NoVA, or anywhere else in my travels around the State).  It will likely be cold so coats are in order (and maybe rain gear).  But lots of open and concealed carry is expected, and I've never heard of any G letting weapons inside, so that's also a bit confusing.  And there's no indication of the extent of police presence, but that's also obviously likely, and in force.

VCDL does not want any trouble or confrontation, but obviously that is exactly what Northam and his Dem hoodlums would want, so we can be painted as extremists who should not own guns.  (Duh)  

It's liable to be a madhouse (hopefully).  But a peaceful but noisy madhouse.

Gotcha.  Even though I could drive down and back the same day (100miles, 2 hours, maybe), damn I95 between here and Richmond is backed up daily and sometimes for hours (and on a holiday weekend?).  I swore off 95 a long time ago after spending hours on my bike sitting in brutal sun multiple times over the years.  And when it's moving, it's just like Talladega.

I was thinking about a Richmond hotel the night before, but haven't made any calls.  I've never been in Richmond myself (in 27 years here, as I dislike all cities equally).

Nope, Not American but have many relatives plus my wife's dad was born near Walla Walla WA, so I do have many American connections including quite a number up and down the "Left Coast"(the left coast includes Vancouver/Victoria BTW)

Not for a second do I believe that the Democratic governors of this country can seize all the guns. In the meantime, just who will confiscate our guns? It will be the local law enforcement of this country that has first been federalized under Program 1033 and now internationalized under the control of the United Nations as this will be part of the enfiorcement strategy.

New York mayor, DeBlasio said that such an organization is needed because of the threat of terrorists and extremists.
