Anyone try this tire yet? I'm getting ready for a new rear and this tire looks pretty good to me,

https://www.walmart.com/ip/Leao-Lion-Sport-UHP-205-55R16-94-W-Tire/518083267

and it is cheap. I have been running a Champiro VP1, and it has been a good tire, no complaints... just looking to try something else.

It was one of the ones I was strongly considering to replace my old Coooper... not so much about price but that it was a UHP tire and the more rounded shoulder.

Said screw it in the end and just got the Cobra Chromes...200 for the rear.

Cooler looking than the Champiro.

So, I guess no one is running it yet?

OK, I'll try it out, although I've found out cool looks isn't all there is to it Britman. I got the Verdestein tire several years ago when it came out, looked really good and some members thought it was a good ride. Turned out to be a dud for me, didn't ride right,, here it what it looked like when I took it off to put the Champiro on.

Maybe I had a bad one?? I know that all car tires do not turn out to be winners on a bike. I will try out the Leao Lion when I replace the rear pretty soon. Here was the Verdestein soon after I put it on. Looked pretty cool but turned out to be a royal dud.

To get an acceptable ride out of it, I had to run it at 45+..... so the excessive wear in the center. But notice how lopsided the carcass is,,, don't think that was caused by excessive pressure.

OK, was just wondering if you were aware of too high pressure.  cooldude

A Cooper tire I used years ago wore out like that at 42. I run my Champiros at 34.
