I haven't used that bulb, but have used others, both LED and HID. Unless it says 'DOT approved', the light pattern may be a problem. I've used the above in a Suzuki VS800, Honda CB450, and in the Valkyrie, with varying results. Both HID and LED in the Suzy gave great performance, but HID in the 450 sucked (too much light close in), and LED is just OK. HID in the Valk also sucked, so I didn't even try a LED bulb; went for Eagle Lights instead.
Bottom line, it depends entirely on the design of your headlamp reflector and lens, with some failing miserably, others working well enough. So, try it - it's only money.

Looking at the pics, it appears they try to put the emitters in a size and position to emulate the tungston filiments of standard incandescent H4 bulbs. With testing of many LED H4 offerings, I've found such emulation of LED bulbs intended for use in fixtures designed for incandescent bulbs, absolutely essential to get a decent light pattern. So these bulbs may work well. Especially if they made them so they have adjustable positioning of the emitters to enable adjustment to work with various reflector fixtures. Now we need someone or several to buy, install, test and report back...

Yes, it all comes down to design of the emitters. Halogen bulbs are brightest in the center of the filament, and cooler at the ends, and well designed headlamps have to work with this to meet DOT specs. If the LED is the same brightness end-to-end, and the emitter is the same length of a filament, the light pattern is different, and many headlamps don't control the resultant change. That's why, IMO, you just have to try it, to find out how good your headlamp is at spreading the light from a differently-shaped source. Often, there is too much light scattered in the near field, and that light makes it hard to see past the front of the bike.

Decent price point on the 4 G pair. I've paid near the same and gotten less. RIDE SAFE.

I concur with your assessment. The LED should mimic the Halogen filament, and these do that. Heat sinks instead of fans will make them more reliable. And the price is good. I'm thinking these will catch on with the I/S crowd quickly.

Third ones pictured look very similar to the ones I'm using, but mine are adjustable for fine tuning the beam angle. I am very happy with them.

I'm thinking these will catch on with the I/S crowd quickly. I like the 1st one, 4K lumen, with a nice price for an LED. Would like to try them, but I've already got 2 pairs of spare H4/Honda bulbs sitting around, with very little night riding (and not enough riding in general). As mentioned, a good option for an IS.

Did you have to cut the tabs for installation? Heard that mentioned on other LED headlights for I/S.

Yes, I had to mod the tabs to install.
