I'm sure you've all heard about and have seen the pictures of the incredible situation that is growing worse by the day, especially in California.

Dr. Drew Pinsky was saying that the powers that be are blaming a housing shortage for the crisis that is emerging.  He pointed out something that ALL citizens of this country should hear.  He reminded us that there are 15 MILLION illegal immigrants in this country, a million in LA alone, all living in homes.  However, there are thousands of American's who are homeless.  He declared that there is NOT a housing shortage, there is a mental illness problem.

Podiatrically speaking, I couldn't agree more.  Just another issue not being addressed by our do-nothing congress and local governments headed up by the folks who preside over the districts where the problems are at their worst.
