The vote. Abuse of power. 48 guilty. 52 not guilty. Obstruction of congress. 47 guilty. 53 not guilty. Across party lines except for Romney. He voted guilty on the abuse of power but not guilty. It should be over but it won't be. They will continue to try to find grounds for his removal.
We can just hope that the GOP wins the house back so they can boot Pelosi off as speaker...

I had the same question. If he looses the nominee again he should run as a independent. That would take votes away from the dems. Win win. |

I recall Trump was a donor to the Democratic party for many years, but still run as republican. And Ronald Reagan was a Democrat in his earlier years but was a Republican when he threw his hat into the ring from presidential nomination. Bernie Sanders is holding office as an Independent even now as he campaigns for the Democrat nomination. |

Any of the Congressmen running, either House, shouldn't be allowed to vote. Since they don't have the personal morals or ethics to recuse themselves, a policy or rule needs to be implemented.

Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz, who will be part of President Trump’s impeachment legal defense team, pushed back against Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) statements that impeachment is forever by stating that impeachment “is only a grand jury presentment” and “disappears” upon acquittal, just like an indictment does if someone is acquitted at trial.

Maybe these people have the right idea. Trump converted many Democrats the last election, I know, I talked to a number of them. However many voters thought of Trump as an unknown quantity and this was also the case with a lot of republicans who were suspicious. I was not one because I have followed him a bit for years. However now no one is uncertain about this guy unless you are hiding under a rock. He wakes up everyday with one thought and that is what can I do to make this country and it's citizens stronger, safer, wealthier, and best place on earth to live. I knew, just like with his companies and properties, he would be the nation's greatest cheerleader. He is now converting many more democrats who are pleased with his direction, and brought over the majority of republicans who were unsure and will now vote for him. His approval rating with republicans is the highest ever. And as enthusiastic as his supporters were 4 years ago, they are even more enthusiastic now because they know he works for them, and there are millions more of them. Around here his flags have been flying and a lot of people make their own billboards for their yards in some creative ways, something I have seen little of in any election I remember. Expect a landslide this fall and keep expecting the Dems to make even more absurd statements and stands, because their own internal polling is bearing my statements out. |
