If he was just trying to use the phone to call for help, after he got shot you betcha a ambulance was coming! lol
Aaaa kidding aside, I take no sides since I can't hear the audio. Either way tho, if someone did break in my house to use my phone, I may not ask him what he was doing. If I do ask and I see a 'possible weapon' in his hands I'll defend myself or others if needed if he did not exit stage left or drop the weapon.
One of our medics had a guy come 'looking' for his sister at his house. He would not let him in. As he kicked in the door they both fought and the medic got the gun away from him. Dude went out and got another and shot himself in the head. Then the medic cric'ed him and saved his life. Talk about wierd.
I read/heard somewhere where a guy got shot entering someone elses house. He lived, (sigh), and sued the guy that shot him.

And he won!
Lucky for us we live in the country. Cops say around here there are very few breakins due to the fact country folk are more likley to be armed then the city folks.
