My perspective is that this (Failed Iowa Democrat Caucus) was/is by design. The Democrats and the left desperately want to repeal the Electoral College. If you make the primaries impossible or excessively difficult to run it makes the case to repeal the Electoral College easier to make. Get rid of the Electoral College you get rid of the State's electors, get rid of the electors, then you don't need caucuses and primaries. The Electoral College is the single greatest election security system ever devised.

Virginia is next on the list looking to join

This is the real deal kids, if the Dems get rid of electoral college, it’s game, set, match.

Darn hard to get an amendment passed.  2/3 majority in the house and in senate.  Then ratified by 3/4 of the states which would be the toughest as those small  population states are not likely to give up their power.  A convention of the states I believe has never happened.   But of course it is possible but not in the foreseeable future.

Can you just imagine what this country would be like if NY, IL, and CA picked our President every election?  Imagine people like Warren Wilhelm, Jr., and Barry Soetero, and Hollywood (where EVERYBODY has changed their name) picking the President every time

Idiocracy comes to mind.

If I’ve read all the information right, the states that are in agreement with the National Popular Vote are permitted to group their electoral vote in any direction they choose, which under this agreement will go toward the candidate with the most votes, not votes won under the electoral college guidelines.

They intend to pick off states one by one from the outside in. Times is on their side, I don’t believe there is an expiration date to any of the decisions each state has made and to be removed from the pact it will need to be by each state voting to remove itself from the pact.

Without a doubt the blame for not getting this passed will be racism and Russia.
