Time enjoy wasted is not wasted time

I took a few days off and decided to visit friends in Salisbury NC while the weather feels cold the sun it bright and beautiful!  I find myself thinking how nice would it be to find a place to rent a bike and go for a ride.  I tried to look up a rental shop but can't  find anything local Sad 
Anyone have any ideas?
I don't have a ton of time but It would be fun!
