Strider hasn’t been active on the board since July of last year. Anybody keeping up with him? Always upbeat and entertaining in his posts.

Like a few other notables on this board he sure has an entertaining way with words and unfolding a yarn.  I also miss reading his posts!

I was concerned that a health issue might be involved. I probably knew about his wife but enough time has passed that my rememberer got too full.

Lot of folks on here that I used to see at all the CBR's  and other rides either passed on or seldom visit here anymore. Time marches on.

wish him and Bonnie all the best life has to offer

Met Warren back in the days of the old chat room when politics never got hot.  He put my 2005 trip to Colorado to music of Zeppelin (Kashmir) and it was up for years until the site went down

We had some great talks and chats before he retired from his job and devoted most of his time to his faith and his wife.

Two great choices IMHO.

Regret that I have never had the opportunity to meet his wife but sure would have enjoyed the chance, who knows maybe we will cross paths down the road.

Life goes on... Warren was one of those characters we meet along the way who... I'm reminded of a variation of that old saying... "A rising tide lifts all boats." In his case, "Strider nearby lifts all spirits!" What a positive impact he had on everything he was involved with... heck, anything at all! I do miss that guy... as do all who knew him.

Priorities change, all details in our lives change, evolve, morph into new things and new directions... and so it is with that wonderful guy. He has done what he thought he had to do, and knowing him as I do, I'm content to leave the choices to him. I do regret not having his presence amongst us any more, but...

All associations in our own journeys come and go, and there isn't much to be done about that. We can remember the good times and meaningful experiences, though, and we can celebrate those now and then. I'm glad this was brought up! I do think of my old friend from time to time, and it is good that we pay tribute to one of our best here, too. Thanks for the reminder!!!
