That 3 engine replacements. Kinda curious-were they needed? Or just a precaution? Good story none the less.  cooldude Still sorta young!  Roll Eyes When's the last time any of y'all have seen a Vetter fairing. Friend of mine had a 76 GW with that Vetter. And the fairing was frame mounted, /took a bit of gittin used to. RIDE SAFE.

There is a guy in town here with a Goldwing/ Vetter fairing. He rides it quite a bit. (I think they were all frame mounted)

Don't know of any 'relatedness', but clearly he is a kindred spirit! Obviously he knows what all of us know... if you're in it for the long haul, Honda is definitely the way to go! To do what he has done, and what all 'long riders' do, there simply must be much more to it than merely accumulating miles or showing off to others. The stick-ability to do that much riding day in and day out, year in and year out, decade in and decade out... I feel like I'm preaching to the choir again... If I had to explain it, I'd be wasting my time... and wearing my typing finger out unnecessarily! I think, instead, I'll go look for some more good Q today...
