OK, finally I am on the new board (my fault, not admins  Cheesy) Didn't realize we had switched until tonight.

Yes Joe see you tomorrow. Looking forward to it.

Those of us from Atlanta will be meeting in Cumming at about 9:30, ksu/aos 10 am from Mrs Winners on Hwy 20 just west of 400.

I am happy to report Werner and his lovely wife Gudrun (from Germany) will be riding with us. Many of us met Werner a couple years ago at Cheaha. He's cool (even cooler with Gudrun with him!)

Stanley - you're coming right?  Wink

All are welcome. I count about 9 or 10 expected to ride from Cumming. Weather will be great! Spring is coming!  Cheesy

OK, haven;t figured out the pictures yet. Will have to do some reading.

Stanley, you're coming with your valk in tow? Does that mean you'll have to roll down your window to feel the wind on your face?
Hmm. Perhaps I read that wrong.
I may need to re-read this entire thread. I think someone said they were coming to Cumming too.  Just an odd reading I suppose.

Enjoy the ride folks. I hear that is a great view. I've never been up there in good weather. Everytime I ride that way the fog thickens around me. My wife and I went up there on our honeymoon and we could barely see the road on the way up or down.  So I'll stay home and hope to keep the fog to myself. Enjoy the ride.

I do like Helen Ga, yes the traffic is bad, and none of the roads through town (either of them) are as nice as the ones in the surrounding areas. But still.
Me and my wife had a nice day trip date there when we were still college kids. Our honeymoon was there(on the XS11). We've been back many a time. But not recently.
If you do go to Helen (which is lovely despite your not liking the HELLen traffic) then you should go see the HO scale model train. Wonderful display made to model Germany. Amazing how much time was spent on that.
Have you ever been to the Cabbage Patch Museum? The people that work there scare me, they take it WAY to seriously. Watching a cabbage patch kid being born from the great tree of life freaked out my little sister. She didn't like the size of the needle that holds the imagination that they pump the cabbage patch kids full of. Yup. WAY to serious.

We head to that area occasionally. although I don't think we did last year. Unless we came back that way from Inzane. We might. We did one year from Johnson City just because we could, but it may have been year before last.

I've decided to get some yard, home and most importantly bike maintenance out of the way so there will be (hopefully) nothing to keep me from making future rides. Also been tryin' to get over some kinda crud I picked up.
I been wantin to hook up with Duffy and ride the GA mtns. Hate to miss this one. Sad I know y'all will have a good ride.  cooldude

Yard work never goes away. Grass keeps growing back. Dang it!
