Just noticed this today for the first time. An oblong shadow on the dash screen, not sure what caused it, I hope there isn't something behind there getting to hot. Anybody ever see this before ?

if honda still makes it, that peice can be replaced. i replaced mine years ago because the coating was peeling. looks like yours is doing the same.. its just glued on
pry the old one off and clean off the glue residue with goof off or something to that affect and stick the new one in place. no need to remove any of those light lenses.
just checked partzilla and ron ayres. looks like that part is no longer available..
so if thats the case you can clean the rest of the coating off of it and just keep it clean.

Thanks for your response 3W but what I am trying to describe is a dark spot on the screen behind/above the FM and left of the clock, a shadow of sorts.

Hey Mike mine has it too, it depends on how the sun light hits it. At night the dash looks fine, that discoloration disappears. Look at it in the shade.
