Left side/center.

That's the only pipe that didn't burn me.

Gave her a Seafoam dose.....no help.

Pulled the plug and it was carbon fouled.

Cleaned it and checked to see if it was shorted...seems OK.

Plugged it into the wire and started her up...spark was there but looked kinda wimpy.

Small blue colored spark.

What should I check next?

(Plug is as specified in the manual from Big BF after carb rebuild).

HELP?!

Have you checked cylinder compression?

Maybe a valve problem?

How many miles on her?

Will check compression next.  What should it be? (Guess I can check the manual if you don't know  tickedoff)

Only 41K miles.

Swap the plug with another cylinder and recheck if that one fires ok,  Could be just a bad plug. Start it up in a dark shed or at night and see if you see in spark bleed around the coil wire. Do the cheap $hit first. Good luck  cooldude

As above.   My front left failed to warm up unless over 3,500 rpm...so I had to remove the carb bowl and clean the jet.  All perfect after that.  Used Sea Foam....useless.

Replace all the plugs at once. If one has gone bad others are weak also. Mine has done this twice right at 10,000 mi. at cold start ups. Running Iridiums at the present which have over 12,000 mi. but acted like they wanted to foul when I rode it late December but cleared up within a 1 mi.

Well I'll be ding danged!
The problem followed the plug!!
In all my years I ain't never had a plug go bad like that...and I've changed a chit ton of plugs in my day!

Now wondering what new plugs to use instead of the NGK DPR7EA 9 !?

Bought my DR200 used from a dealer with 600 miles.  Put a few hundred more miles on it until one morning she just stalls out miles from home. she would start but not idle. figured out if I kept RPMs very very high, she would stay running but rough. got home. it was the plug, partially shorted out. Put new plug in and over 4k miles later still on the same new plug.

for valkyrie I'm running CHAMPION POWERSPORT SPARKPLUG 8812. very please with them and the added performance they provide.

Based on my experience, there’s nothing wrong with the NGK plugs.  They are cheap and will give you good service.  You can replace them several times over for the price of iridium or other high -end plugs.

I changed a set of NGK plugs in a buddy's bike that had 85000 miles on them and looked brand new, Replaced with NGKs as I did on my Valks. I've had several Champion plugs fail shortly after install. (not in Valks) Some times things just go bad, Glad you figured it out and it wasn't really expensive.  cooldude

I also went with Iridiums. Cost about 3x the price, but are suppose to last 100K miles.

Whatever OEM is per vehicle. Champions in a GM, no friggin' way lesson learned the hard way. AC only. NGK is predominantly used in most metric vehicles.

Every NGK I ever pulled looked like it had been in there for two weeks.

I've changed two bikes twice, and they never noticeably ran any better.   Maybe I got one MPG better, and maybe not.
