And BEFORE any of y'all jump to contusions while I still preciate a good lookin female the Other eye candy i'm reffering too is where I live in the Missouri Ozarks. Got out on Phatt Ghurl thurs sat and today and tween those 3 days right at 400 miles. All 3 days were Very Windy. The eye candy I'm talkin bout is from believe it or not the lack of leaves on the trees down here right now. I can actually discern the topography i'm ridin through or over from that lack of vegetation. Some of the valleys/ravines/rifts here bouts are danged DEEP. And in certain places i'd like to stop BUT no SAFE place to park or no shoulder to park on SAFELY. So consequently I miss lotsa photo ops.  Lips Sealed Thurs I counted the bikes I saw on one hand. On sat while stopped at a fuel stop in Theodosia Mo. 21 M/Cs from a Veterans group stopped in and i wandered over and breezed with em fer a bit. Lotsa old gnarly Nam Vets in attendance. Today met up with a few of my P G R Ridin friends. If anyone here finds themselves in Summersville Mo. find an eatery called The Rusty Gate-i had the catfish and fries and iced tea danged good-one had a cheeseburger-danged good-and another had a double slaw burger-danged good. Young ladies kept the tea glasses soda glass and coffee cup full. And rain headin fer my area and lookin like it will be here on and of fer the next week or so. Hope those of y'all in the great white north will be gittin out and about Soon!  cooldude RIDE SAFE.

I moved the bikes around on Sunday and took them down the road for a 3 mile ride.
There is a lot of salt on the main roads and the wind was cold along Lake Michigan.
So the bikes will have to wait a little while yet.
I did buy a new Mustang so that will keep me entertained for now.

O2S, glade to hear your getting out and about.  Wow! 400 miles in three days is great.

My last ride what Thursday, got in a  150 miler.  Actually rode in some of our high country.  several places have about 2' for snow on the ground under the trees.   Should be more.  Since then we have been waking up to an inch of snow or more ever morning.  Gone by noon mostly.  Thankfully the roads are still warm from almost 2 weeks of nearly 60 degree temps.  Some years we get a yearly snowpack in March and April.  We are less than 70% of normal now, need more (don't want to see it come down-just know we need it).

I lived in Colorado for some years. Low snow pack affected the planted crops-lower yields. Resivoirs full meant less water pull from aquafers. It IS a balance but I Know what your talkin about. At the moment here in the Ozarks we are ONLY a bit over 4" of usual rain fall. It can go minus far Too EASILY. Glad you got out too!  cooldude RIDE SAFE.

Not Yet, but maybe this year back in Sept I added a 2015 Valkyrie to my stable and with 5 bikes riding to work helps me keep them exercised.

I got in about 250 on sat. Ended up at Central Dairy in Jeff city for a big ole Chocolate malt. Grin doesn't get any better than there. Found some great roads, did almost the whole alphabet.
