First day of Daylight Savings Time... what better way to spend it than heading out for a good afternoon ride. Still a bit cool out with temps in the single digits C, but after a couple of wet days, the old Sun was pokin' its head out through the  clouds.

Snow has been creeping down the mountains again, but as long as it stays up there all is good

On the way East on Hwy 7 towards the towns of Hope, and eventually Yale.

Not sure what it is...whenever I come down from up the Fraser Canyon Hwy 1, I always seem to stop and take this same picture. There's just something about this mountain shot that peaks my interest... just something... I  can't really put my finger on it...  Wink Wink

Uh oh.... my only route home goes through this

Sure enough, turned out to be a little hail storm to ride through. Just a couple minutes... just enough to make me second guess my decision on this day to leave my fancy new modular full face helmet on the shelf  back in the garage, in favor of the old half helmet  Smiley

Nice pics, that second one is a real beauty.   We've still got more snow here finally giving way to brown, pretty to see green pasture!   cooldude

Not overly high, compared to some of BC's more prominent mountains. Mnt Cheam in the second photo is just under 7000 Ft....just across the river from my place. I've hiked to near the top in the past. The "Twin Peaks" are part of the Skagit range of the Cascade Mtns... not really sure how high those are, but I would guess about the same.
