Greetings, I bought an F6B from the Naples, FL area and had it shipped to Pensacola, FL area in an enclosed trailer. It was delivered within 24 hrs. It happened to be good timing I was told. He said he travels coast to coast. Not sure where you are located but you might give him a call.
One2 Trust Transport Co. - Fransico, 941-769-3462. Good luck.  coolsmiley

I have used Haul Bikes out of Milwaukee twice with excellent results.
Pics of the bike are taken when the bike is picked up and the bike is inspected by you when delivered.  It is a double decker semi so the windshield must be removed to transport.  Delivery time usually runs 2-3 weeks.  My last bike (Tourer) was secured with 6 tie-downs.

I've used uShip last year.

Pretty easy.  You will list the bikes pickup point and delivery point and receive bids from independent shippers.  Don't use anyone without reviews.  Once you pick the shipper you will have a cell number to keep in contact with the driver.  There are a few more details to the process that you will look in to.

Worked good for me

BEWARE of Haulbikes.  They promised 2 weeks but took 6.  Charged me nearly $600.  I had to pay to have the windshield shipped separately - that wasn't cheap and after I paid them a lot to haul the bike - no room in the semi to pack and haul windshields?  Good thing I suppose - they would have damaged that too.  The bike was coming from Michigan to Colorado - they routed to the East coast and took their sweet time.  Damaged my bike.  Broke promises repeatedly.  And lied to me repeatedly.  When the truck did show up, the driver parked the HUGE SEMI TRUCK where I couldn't find it.  I had asked him - directly on the phone, minutes before - to park on the top of the hill that went around the back of the Elizabeth Walmart - so I would have a hill to start it on, knowing the battery was probably weak.  Plenty of room to park there, no signs.  Instead he parked IN WALMART'S TRUCK AREA BEHIND THE BUILDING NOT VISIBLE FROM ANYWHERE AND ON LEVEL GROUND.  Of course the battery was dead.  And knowing that, he left me there with a dead battery as "he couldn't wait" - or assist with starting it.  I had to take the car, leave my wife unsecured with the bike in a bad, hidden area, and go get the jumper cables.  Meanwhile they had stolen the mirror off the bike and dented the tank.  Took me a LONG time to get them to cough up the damages.  I gave them a very bad review on the Ripoff report.  And reported them here.

Yeah they have a fancy truck.  Spent all their money there and deliver NADA to their customers.

BEWARE OF, AND DON'T HIRE HAULBIKES.

Wow, what a difference between Biker Boys and Mark T's experiences with the same company. You never know who's going to show up and how the overall experience turns out.

Thanks for the info guys . It was informative.

Where to and from?

Agreed, there are usually options but, one has to know the locations.    I've transported a lot of cars, truck and motorcycles.   Some times there will be enough room to load and secure a bike and save the owner money if, the bike is on the route and the destination are anywhere near the driver's route.  Special or direct Point A to Point B transports are quite a bit more expensive.

I transported 4 Valkyries to InZane a couple of years ago.

Other nice to know information is, does the bike have to be in an enclosed trailer or can it be transported on an open air trailer.   Usually makes a big difference in pricing.

There are also many members right here on this forum that have the capability to trailer a bike.   Not all want the responsibility of another man's Pride and Joy but, some will.

I have used haul bikes with great results. Many photos taken before and updates from the company of when to expect delivery they have been on time or ahead of schedule.

I used a company that was a broker firm - I gave them a starting location and a destination, they had quoted prices and packages. The company that did the actual hauling specialized in moving motorcycles and pianos (what a combination !). They did a first class job - my Valk was put in a rack upright (no need to remove windshield or anything else) with adequate tiedowns, the enclosed 18 wheeler trailer had a lift gate to the ground. I met them at a Sheetz in NC close to my old house, we got it loaded in about 15 minutes and they were off to their next pickup. My bike was delivered the day before we (and our household goods) got here.

Company was Shippingmasters <sales@shippingmasters.com>

I used the AMA affiliated Federal Motorcycle Transport to ship our 3 large bikes (Valk, VTX, Rocket 3) from Wisconsin to NJ when I relocated to the new job.  It was about $1100 back in 2008. They give preferred rates to AMA members...also HOG.

They palletized each bike separately and shipped in enclosed 18 wheeler equipped with a lift gate.

Very professional and took 1 week to get delivered.  No damage or issues.

I’ve watched the old show “Shipping Wars” that highlighted UShip...wouldn’t use them based on the damage done by lowest bidder yahoos.  I’m sure there are good reviews but I wouldn’t take a chance.

Wouldn't use UShip if their price was 1/2 the lowest bidder's price.   UShip is a reverse bidding process where the buyer of the service gets what he pays for normally.
