Since the Pro portion of the GatorNationals has been postponed, Roxie and I will be at the Dumpster about 9:30

Personal ride Already planned for Saturday. Will be making the Sunday run instead.

We have not ridden in many many weeks due to this ragweed affect really taking me out and heavy work load 12-16 hour days. Sherry will need to get back in the seat for local runs for a wile, also maybe for a shorter Brooksville run one day. Will be putting Goldstrike highway pegs and handlebar grips on along with saddlebag dividers, so it will be interesting how the new items rate. |

Had a late lunch / early dinner there for the first time a couple of days ago....enjoyed our meals. 1 salmon and 3 bronze redfish....will definitely be going back in the next week or two before heading back home to Michigan in April. Shane was our waiter and had a couple of interesting tales to share......1) sand was pumped out of Lake Weir and used in the cement for the Empire State Building and 2) Ma Barker and one of her sons were killed by the FBI in a house on the north shore. That house has been relocated to Carney Island...... https://www.florida-backroads-travel.com/ocklawaha-florida.htmlCan't find anything on the sand for the Empire State Building.....maybe just a good ole boy blowing some smoke up a northerners butt.  .......regardless, we very much enjoyed the stories and food....and I'm sure you all will as well.  |

Thanks for the link and great review of Eatons Bassman, this has been a spot we hit a couple of times a year, I think Gator Joe's should be next on our list to try out. I had heard of the Ma Barker story before and there is a fenced in area on the main drag that I was told was the site of the shoot out before they moved the cottage. Not so sure about the sand story, sounds a little smokey up the tucus ! Try to join us tomorrow if you can.

Thanks to everyone that came to lunch today. We had a great time as always and enjoy y'alls company. Nice to meet some new peeps as well, they sure had some clean bikes today. Of course the garlic fries were a hit, I wonder if the order of fries Eddy got to go made it home or not !!
