I stay out of Gander/ Camping World. There told me I wasn’t welcome. The latest business plan for Gander Outdoors is, if it doesn’t have RVs they are closing then. Sounds like he bought Gander out of bankruptcy to pillage the land and buildings.

I have never had the desire to go into a business with the name "DICKS".

yah,  after Gander Outdoors bought out bankrupt Gander Mountain which I frequented often years ago for good clearance sales on fishing/hunting/clothing/ATV stuff mostly,  have not set foot in any local Gander Outdoors after the 1st one to two visits years ago.  All they had was full priced merchandise no good sales most clothing and other hunting/fishing items were near full retail overpriced to begin with so why bother going there?  They like said also seem to be catering to the yuppier/fancier RV crowd as well. NO offense to the RV crowd on here but most who can afford a nice RV can afford to pay full retail there as well.  The last time into GAnder Outdoors few years ago last time in there they had about 5 sales people talking in the way back bored out of their mind and only like 1-2 people in the entire store, wonder why?

Dicks sporting goods I found was very similar as well not a ton of good sale items there but have bought a couple good sale items from them in the past but that was years ago as well.

I used to shop at Gander Mountain. Camping World bought them out and named them Gander Outdoors. I was going to check them out but it wasnt soon after that the CEO Marcus Lemonis said "conservatives were not welcome in his stores" after a tiff over President Trump's emigration policy. So I never went into the store we had here and now it's closed. Also have not been in a Dicks since the great AR purge.

the CEO is a UN marxist Globalist and following UN 2030 agenda. sad thing he most likely doesn't know he is.

Goal 11) Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable

Translation: Ban all gun ownership by private citizens, concentrating guns into the hands of obedient government enforcers who rule over an unarmed, enslaved class of impoverished workers. Criminalize living in most rural areas by instituting Hunger Games-style "protected areas" which the government will claim are owned by "the People" even though no people are allowed to live there. Force all humans into densely packed, tightly controlled cities where they are under 24/7 surveillance and subject to easy manipulation by government.

Total enslavement of the planet by 2030
As the UN document says, "We commit ourselves to working tirelessly for the full implementation of this Agenda by 2030."

If you read the full document and can read beyond the fluffery and public relations phrases, you'll quickly realize that this UN agenda is going to be forced upon all the citizens of the world through the invocation of government coercion. Nowhere does this document state that the rights of the individual will be protected. Nor does it even acknowledge the existence of human rights granted to individuals by the Creator. Even the so-called "Universal Declaration of Human Rights" utterly denies individuals the right to self defense, the right to medical choice and the right to parental control over their own children.

The UN is planning nothing less than a global government tyranny that enslaves all of humanity while calling the scheme "sustainable development" and "equality."

I own a food  business now for 30 years.....I keep politics to myself. No sense in pissing off 50% of my customers with my thoughts or feelings. I think Dicks bowed to liberals at the expense of conservatives.  Bad idea....if you always sold guns,  then just keep selling them.

Last I checked, a business has the right Tom sell or not sell whatever they deem proper for them.
Just as everyone here has the right to shop there, or not. I’m sure everyone here agrees with that concept, in fact I’m reasonably sure we all would fight for that right. Having said that, I just don’t see a problem here.
