A cynic might think it was an election year or sumthin'... and 'our guys' need a boost! The guardians of truth no longer 'referee', they've become 'players' too... It could be argued it has always been so, and perhaps it has. Still, it does seem to be a bit more one-sided than it did back in the days of Cronkite, Huntly & Brinkley... Maybe I just missed it back then...
