Mine arrived yesterday.  I just pasted a picture of a blue and silver over that ugly yellow one. Grin

I've been holding off, but I guess it's time for a reminder of the ever-present prospect of a Presidential Decree establishing which color combination is the prettiest and fastest.   2funny

No secret here that I am highly partisan.

It is amazing, but after careful consideration of information collected over a certain amount of time on the VRCC Tech Board, the General Board as well as this Texas Board - the color of your bike is the most determinant factor effecting your Valkyrie's speed! coolsmiley

By the way, great calender! cooldude

Don't be too upset.  He used the pictures of the good looking bikes last time around.  (See: September.  Also see: January, March, and December.)

Speaking of December, I get cold just looking at this month's picture.  Did they have to use dynamite to clear that???

Must be a metric system dynometer.

Questions I get asked and the answers in regards to my Valk:

How fast does it go?  Faster than I want to go.
How much does it weigh?  A lot when it falls over.
Is that a car tire?  Not at the present time.
Which color is faster?  The one that just passed me.

The operational word there is "had".  Plus, you're comparing bananas to blueberries and confusing the VRCC with the GWRRA or gl1800riders.com.

The blue 'wing was fast.  1,800 fuel-injected ccs will do that for a bike.  Even a 900lb one.  But I got smoked so badly by this guy on a yellow one that I refuse to admit it or discuss it in public.  I don't think I'm alone on that one.   2funny

Hi Dave

You didn't say what that yellow machine was? Of course we know that yellow is always faster! There so scared that you'll never catch them! Are you about ready to saddle for some riding? I hope you're way no your way to recovery. Say hi to Janet and have a Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas, Gary.  Great to see you on the board.

That yellow machine went by so fast that I'm not sure what it was!  Actually, in this era of Performance Correctness, aren't we supposed to be color blind?   tickedoff

Re recovery, I've been riding since Friday 13 November and was officially discharged by the orthopedist Monday.  I even finished my shopping yesterday on the Valkyrie!  Only the mental health remains an issue.   Wink
