I'm told lot of auto designers were grads of Malibu Art Institute, which would explain much. Now, I see cars and trucks on the road that look to be the work of a second-grader. |

'58 Impala convertible, with dual rear mounted radio antennas. Truly a classic, much nicer car than the previous year, which seems to be everybody's choice.

I've owned two 57s and a 55 in my short lifetime, wish I could afford to get just one of them back. I've got a 50 model GMC five window setting behind the shed that someday I'll breath life into again. Probably after my son gets out of college, and another election.

I had a 55 chevy 265 V8 power glide. Loved that car then sold it and got a 68 442 olds hurst special. Wish I had both of them back. |

Not all have vanished from the landscape, We still have one in our area. They just closed for the season and had the in car heaters to. Costs $8.50 per person now instead of per car but there is nothing like sitting outside watching a movie with the Original Surround Sound (LOL)www.cascadedrivein.com I also had Three 57's and 1 was a 4door HT. That was my favorite. 69 Mach1, My first new car. 65 T-Bird, 68-442, 71 El Camino, If I could wish and get one back it would be the 69 Mach 1 The Valk was my first new bike in 99 and wishing I still had at least one of my old cars? Is the reason I will never sell or trade for something else.
