until what is left of the social workers come knocking on the parents door stating child abuse to wack them around a little?   Wink

sort of pisses off both my kids, especially the younger one in same UW system college in WI that the entire campus is officially closing down for spring break EARLY and forcing all dorm room students to evacuate campus dorm and school entirely for spring break by April 4th.  There will be NO food served and NO ONE allowed in the dorm must find a place to stay whether it be at home or with friends, etc.    UW college will be reimbursing parking fee, dorm room fee, and meal plans not being used and ONLY ONLINE courses thru end of May (the semester) and possibly ONLY ONLINE teaching no 1 on 1 student/teacher contact in the summer classes.

that is HORRIBLE for learning especially for my younger age 19 student in college since his classes NEED IN ROOM teaching much much harder vs. my soon to be graduating UW student is winding down her college days and more placement teaching vs. being in classes now.

As far as high school or elementary/middle school, to me that is no biggie kids will survive but will the parents having kids being at home while attempting to work from home which most employers are now requiring.

They are making teachers come in and send the video out from the classroom

Kind of dumb if you ask me, teachers are important why should they have to deal with the administrations?

Let them do it from home. Any teachers here what do you think of that?

I think the schools are leaving themselves open to liability if any of the teachers required to come to the building come down with COVID-19. Our school system is allowing most folks to work from locations outside of school.

How would one prove that coming to the school caused said infection? Kinda weak IMHO. Especially when there is no one there.
