Trying to find out if there are any Valk. riders in my part of the state.  I rarely see any of these bikes on the road here.

Welcome. You also might want to add your location to your profile, so people know where "here" is.

We've boys in Spokane and ID, usually use facebook.

The Seattle boys know each other and call, along with posts here. But things are usually a lot slower during the winter months, and with the COVID going around, I'm sure not much is happening at all.

We've our Valhalla Rally in June, we hope will still happen.

I'm in Chinook, WA.  I've had my valk  for almost a year.  I've had many other bikes, but getting this one is the ultimate for now.

Longview here!
Good to see there is someone closer than Seattle.  I don't make that way very often, but it is a nice ride on hwy 4.

New Valk owner here.  I live in Toledo, WA.....between Longview and Centralia, along I 5.  Took a ride out to the coast today, Westport.  Beautiful weather and scenery.  Have other bikes but this Valk is rapidly becoming my favorite.  Just have to figure out how I can adjust the foot positions a little........

Hey, welcome trapper (paul). I often see you over on the ACE Tourer site. I too switched over to a Valk and have never looked back. Sooooo smooth and the torque is addictive! Glad to hear you're enjoying your new ride.

Glad to hear you're enjoying your Valk. I have the Cobra floorboards on my Interstate, and they allow for some minor movement in foot position, which also allows me to slide up and down in the saddle a bit....it does make a difference. Of course highway pegs properly positioned are a must for longer rides.

I have hiway pegs and they're "almost" right.  Looking at some that seem to mount closer to the rider....on the engine?  Those would be perfectly placed for me (short guy).  Trying to work out a deal with someone selling boards and a heel/toe shifter too.

Took a short 50 mile ride this am, overcast and cool.  Going on a longer ride this afternoon now that the sun is out.

Loving it!  So far, with a mix of highway and back roads, I'm getting mid to high 30's for mpg.  Pleasant surprise!

Hope all get to ride soon, stay safe.

I too had a Shadow ACE Tourer, and on the HSATF, where I also meet up with icandoitfast. We are further apart now, also don't meet up as often as I would like, and are both now riding Valkyries.

Did you get a chance to look over the Valhalla Rally post? We are always looking to expand out group of riders, and all are Welcome. I've never heard anyone say they didn't enjoy themselves (but my wife  Embarrassed ), she's still complaining about that time we meet msb on the way to Kellowna for the early meet, going up through Hwy 3 and Manning Park, with the sub zero weather, and not dressed for it.

Checked out the site, still trying to decide if I can make it.  It's 2 days after I get back from a week long military buds reunion on the east coast, and if the border's open, and if I can get my passport renewed, etc., etc.

Biggest thing is getting approval from the wife....I'm heading south to CA at the end of July on my bike, get back and head to Virginia (flying) 3 weeks later for the reunion, then WANT to leave for a week long trip to Canada the day after I return!

We'll see......

Yes, just heard on the news yesterday that a lot of passports aren't being renewed. Then they want you to have a 6 months left on your passport to use it. So far I've heard the border is closed till the end of the month. We're all waiting for it to open again. I've got about 20 packages in Blaine with y name on them, waiting for pick up.

Hey which way are you heading south to CA?   If you get a chance take a short side trip to see Crater Lake.  It is well worth stopping for a few to see it.   I live about 50 air miles from it and go up there several times a year.   each time I see it, its like the first time.  AND its open now.
