Normal people - We're under lock down, conserve all supplies, don't go out unless absolutely necessary. Hoard all the things except things that make sense to hoard! My lovely wife Mrs. Serk - I hear the pounds are overflowing, maybe I should go adopt a puppy. Oh yeah..... I said no! But, well..... was overruled..... Meet Chloe, rounding out our trio of Shepherds... She's about 8 months old, adopted from the City of Mesquite, TX Animal Shelter today...  |

It was a real effort to keep my wife from cruising the pound too.
Oh look, more cats.
In truth, the pound always ripped out my heart as well. So I didn't go there.

In truth, the pound always ripped out my heart as well. So I didn't go there.
I found the solution to the cat problem, had a friend with multiple cats but one of them was going to be an only cat one way or another. She was fine with kids, dogs, etc. But any other cat she would try to kill non-stop. So we're a one cat household, at least as long as Miss Kitty is around... And yeah, the pounds tear me up too, so many just begging for someone to love on..... Thanks all, so far she's fitting in well, few more pics in a minute. Few piddles but MOSTLY going outside... |

On another humorous note, I wonder what it's like washing down three Sheppards with the soapy bucket and hose. And I guess it's time for pricing truckloads of dog chow. |

Reminds me of the Shepherd I had when I lived in Garrison Tx. Runt of the litter lazy left ear gave it to the kids and told them Don't kill the puppy. Best cursed guard dog and kid watcher I Ever had. And the heart tearin out-the WHY of me Not going to the pound. Bark bark bark bang bang bang-O K all quit chewin now!  I Like that! RIDE SAFE. |
