After putting new belt on snow thrower last night. I decided to drain carb of gas. While doing that, I wiped down carb bowl and around the ring of the carb. Just as I did this, a spring/clip fell out  crazy2. I have no clue where it fell from. I found it on parts fiche, but still do not know where it goes? It is #'s 30 & 31. Anybody read the fiche better than me? Thanx!

That has to be what raises/lowers the needle, so that coil spring & pin goes in between the dog ears and then the clip as oriented in diagram. The groove in the needle would catch on the curl of the clip.
