Since we dropped all forms of network tv several years ago, I watch a lot of You Tube videos when plunking myself down in front of the screen...searching out music , bike, fishing, and car videos, history documentaries, etc. Always a big bluegrass/roots music guy, I stumbled upon these guys a few months ago and have been thoroughly enjoying their many videos since....appears they've been at it for quite a while. Love the music, the humor, and just their overall personalities and stories. Was wondering if any folks here from the SE are familiar with them? The first video....brings back memories of a much simpler time growing up on the shores of a lake in the BC interior...

Mike,

Most folks wouldn't find much of interest there... Like you, however, I do! I once visited a couple who lived on the Pearl River near Slidell, LA, on a homemade river-home he'd built himself... The tour really impressed me with the little touches they'd incorporated to deal with the 'special aspects' of living on the water the way they do. It was actually a little nicer than the one the 'Brothers' live on, but the idea is very much the same. Amazing lifestyle, and I found a certain appeal to it... I bookmarked that site... Thanks for sharing it, and thanks especially for the memory trigger!!!

I don't know about the rest o' you boys, but I could spend some time with them fellers floatin' down the river and listenin' to some live tunes and a story or two.

Ran across those guys a few months back.  Enjoyed hearing their humor and music also.  I think one of them said the guy pushing in the boat out back was their Dad.
