I got a short 50 mile rip around central mass yesterday.  Sunny, mid 50's

Lots of people out walking and working in their yards.

I even saw some children playing in the yard, outside Shocked

Cool ride O2S.  I got out an about yesterday for a hundred miles here in Darke and Prebble Counties, OH.  Then those dark clouds rolled up and I just beat the downpour.  Lots of rain here also to ruin a lot of riding that could be done while we are closed for a while.

Ava was the area my Father grew up on my Grandfather Rippee's farm that was in family for a few generations.   He and most of his brothers moved to Midland, MI just before WW2, due to Dow Chemical.  One sister stayed behind and she was my last Aunt or Uncle and we laid her to rest in Ava 4 years ago.  I had not been there in many years and it was so neat to see some cousins and experience the great Ozarks again.  I can really see the charm of retiring to the Ozarks. It is on my short list.  If you take the 14 ( 15 miles ) out of Ava heading east back to the 63 there is the Rippee Conservation Area.  It was named after a great something Grandfather or Great something Uncle, maybe back in the 1800's, just not sure.  The Rippee Creek we went to seemed more like a whitewater river, however a lot of rain had fallen prior to our visit.

Take care and happy trails.

Temps in the mid 50's to lower 60's here with rain this weekend. Of course the $250 fine for being on the roads unless you are essential personal might be a deterrent to heading off on Monday when it is supposed to be sunny and mid 60's. I am still trying to figure out what "essential" personal might mean since the lawn services and tree trimmers are working. No green grass in my lawn yet.

I'm retired and in My mind I are essential.  2funny Greene County here in Missouri-Springfield-I believe is "shut down". Curious as to we can ride or not. On my 201 mile loop yesterday I saw one M H P and he was heading for the barn here in Willow Springs. So WHAT with a "shut down" shelter in place order we ain't sposed to recreate? As Riders can anyone here even Imagine be Forced to stay home?  Lips Sealed Yeah-neither can I. Specially with Summer comin on! RIDE SAFE.
