For those on Facebook you already know this.
For those who know Lesa and not on FB............
Off an on for probably over 4 years Lesa has been taking care of her mom. Full time for over 3 years now. She gave up her career to do this. Her Mom never wanted to go to an assisted living facility and by God Lesa made that happen. It has been a challenge and hard on her. Lesa's Mom passed while cat napping, sitting up on the couch, at home. Can't think of a better way to go.
Keep her in your thoughts and thank you.

Lesa, heartfelt condolences go out to you, I know all about that caregiver duty and the effect it has on the "giver's" life. Blessings to you for your work these past few years. I always promised Rita as long as I could take care of her I'd never put her in a nursing home. I honored that promise to the very end.  angel

God bless you and Lesa for helping to make her mother's wishes come to be. Being a primary caregiver to anyone in their final days can be heartbreaking and extremely challenging, mentally and physically. I hope that Lesa can feel the good in knowing she did well by her mom. Sometimes it's hard to see that through the feelings of loss.

Sorry for the loss Lesa.  When my time comes I can't think of a better way to go meet our maker than to just take a nap.  My Mother passed in 2018 at 97 1/2 yrs.  She had her mind to the end and kept wondering why she was still here, she was ready to go.  Peace be with you both.

My sister was the care taker for both my parents. I know the struggles that come with taking care of the elderly. Lesa you are a special person for your devotion to your mom. Sorry to hear of your moms passing.

I salute you, Lesa.  You did the right thing and your reward awaits you in Heaven.  Even before my wife and I were married, we talked about this concerning both of our parents.  Pam quit her job and took care of both her parents and my Mom before they passes away here at our house.  It was tough at times, but we wouldn't have done it any other way.  You are one of the great ones, Lesa.  Pappy sure is blessed to have such a wonderful wife.  Pappy, this is your queue to do something special for your wife!

I'm very sorry to hear that Lesa mom has passed. I remembered you had told me a while back that Lesa had her hands full with her mom and other things. My father died in his sleep and it was peaceful, sounds like Lesa's mom was at peace as well. God's timing was right,  angel Prayers offered up.  Cool
