Trump has been highly critical of the Fed and has wanted to get back on the gold standard. This is an interesting article that explains how Trump is changing the US for the better and not allowing the Fed to steal any longer. It basically merges the Fed and Treasury into one organization. So, meet your new Fed chairman, Donald J. Trump. I cannot say how much I am impressed and fascinated with the ability and plans of Trump even in the wake of this outbreak, he still is operating on many levels to make the US stronger and safer for us all. The Fed's Cure Risks Being Worse Than the Disease https://finance.yahoo.com/news/feds-cure-risks-being-worse-110052807.htmlAlso for the naysayers its not Trump taking control for himself either or some plot. Previous admins had the same opportunity to do this but gave the control back to the Fed and of course they stopped this cold. In 2008 when something similar was done, it was on a smaller scale. Since few understood it, the Bush and Obama administrations ceded total control of those acronym programs to then-Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke. He unwound them at the first available opportunity. But now, 12 years later, we have a much better understanding of how they work. And we have a president who has made it very clear how displeased he is that central bankers haven’t used their considerable power to force the Dow Jones Industrial Average at least 10,000 points higher, something he has complained about many times before the pandemic hit.

I hate the FED as much as anyone else.
It is probably why JFK was killed and why banksters tried to kill Andrew Jackson.
That being said, what I think will happen: the FED will issue dollars as there is no tomorrow, backed by the US treasury.
That will further devalue* the dollar against other currencies (e.g. Euro, Japanese yen, Chinese yuan, etc) but won't be able to recover the market soon, due to the number of unemployed people.
* medium term, as at right now everyone is racing towards the dollar.
We will be probably facing the worst scenario of a stagflation: inflation + economic stagnation.

Here goes a rant, feel free to simply ignore it:
This whole mess probably could be avoided or at least mitigated if: a) GOP didn't decide to renounce to taxing big corps (which next bought their own stock, inflating the market) and increased the government deficit even more.
b) FED didn't continued to inject free money in the repositions market the whole last year (I wrote briefly about it a couple months ago) further inflating the stock market.
c) We had properly prepared for the plague, back in January (i.e. ' _ Just a flu.'), to minimize the downtime and the number of people who will die.

Savago - Your last point? If you remember, back in January the House was too busy trying to unseat Trump to be bothered by some silly little virus. Trump WAS moving on the virus (and catching Hell for it) even as the House was still busy trying to impeach. Imagine what we could have done if house members would have taken their collective heads out of their collective a$$es ........

@Pappy: I personally don't think the plague's lack of urgency and proper response is in the hands of the Congress.
Last time I checked, it is the Executive power who picks the CDC director.
I would assume that you would also agree that the CDC botched the corona testing?

Oh Hell yes on the CDC. But I do think we would be a bit farther ahead if the folks in the house (and Senate) would have stopped the idiocy and started working in the American people's best interests instead.

I’d like to add to this; All of the early official reports from China were that this was NOT a person to person virus. This was officially reported as a food born illness from the open air markets.

One thing is for sure about the C-19 response, there is no shortage of Monday morning quarterbacks. Our full time Quarterback has been facing a defensive line that is relentless and brutal. A lesser man would have folded his tent and went home long ago.
Who would you put in as Quarterback today?

DO NOT be surprised to see Schiff and Co. try another impeachment run using the response to Covid-19 as the springboard.

A great explanation of what Trump is doing to the fed making them take on the debt they made. He is also explaining the FISA abuse scandal and how its going to be used to prosecute the people who were involved. A simple detailed explanation of these events. It explains that they were trying to push the US into a recession or depression https://x22report.com/?powerpress_pinw=4739-podcast

Whoa ! You’ve outdone yourself on this one 4 or 5 conspiracies all rolled into one concise article (so Trump and Putin are colluding ?) You have expressed your disdain for facts you dont understand and not mentioned in the everyday news. I am sorry this all seems crazy to you but let me say this. The fed take over is already done, if you wanted to research it you could. This only explains the ramifications and reasons of what has already happened. Meat you dont have to read any further this is not really for you. @@@@@@@@@@@@ As for the other things talked about I really knew this would be hard for some here and should have said only listen to the part about the Fed. But personally I believe there is more to the whole happenings including the virus and what this person suggests may actually be the answer. At very least he explains some political juggling that is going on right now. As many things you listen to, glean from it information that you want and see if it pans out. No one except the one who is putting plans into action knows the whole truth. We are only left to vaguely look at events and wonder, and as they say hindsight is 20/20. AS an example, I didn't know fully why Trump was taking over the Fed I thought it was just to finally eliminate them. But the way that he is doing it and the reasons for it are amazing. I remember Your admiration for Obama and he and Bush also had the chance to do exactly what Trump is doing. But instead they gave all the power and authority back to the Fed not knowing what to do with it or just not wanting the system to change. So this is no conspiracy theory, like when, President Trump formally recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and moved our embassy there, he is the only president that had the guts, intelligence and balls to do it. This is a major change, it will alter the economy of the US forever. If what I understand is correct this stimulus package will be all on the Fed and not the US. Also in the last bail out, did we ever get any money being the normal citizen? NO, we did not but in this one small business, the backbone of the US is getting money along with the American people. How awesome is that, what a change from any previous admin. Trump mentioned 3M in the update he gave, the mentioning of that company was because they did not want to keep the masks they produced in the US. President Donald Trump said he had invoked the Defense Production Act to ban the export of crucial medical supplies needed around the world to fight the coronavirus pandemic -- escalating a battle with allies and 3M Co. This he did to stop companies from not helping the US citizen an act that no other president has done. 3M has blatantly said they will not comply but Trump said he was talking to them. This talk is informing these companies that he is not fully evoking the power he has to order these companies to comply with his requests but would like these companies to willingly comply with his demands. Etiher way he is stepping on toes to help the US population I give this as a example of things mentioned lightly that have a great significance, thought and actions, when you go deeper. The dealings the arm twisting and threats all to make America Great Again that should have come naturally to these people and companies but we in the past have never seen what it takes to accomplish things that effect our lives. Much is happening in our world today. much behind the scenes with players that hide intentions, its nice to hear some things are not only going our way but who the players are and what they are saying. With the ultimate result we the people not only dont get screwed but are finally blessed with the things we have worked so hard for and believed in. https://apnews.com/cbed1f366882b07ecc5a45cdee9f4e1ehttps://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-04-03/trump-invokes-act-to-prevent-equipment-from-being-hoarded
