From a client:

Broadway, Manhattan - you can sit in the middle of the street and have lunch and never encounter a motor vehicle (other than an ambulance).  WTF!

The view from upper West Side apartments is M*A*S*H units and freezer trucks lining Central Park.

Sirens in the City have increases by (in my opinion) ten fold.

Lord help us people.  The City is a truly frightening place.  STAY HOME

i'm going to reply to my own post.  The above is from a client I spoke with today who has an office on Broadway and a residence on the upper west side.  I'm not one to spread fear but this really hit home with me.

This is real people.  Stay home, stay safe.

Carol & I were little stir crazy today so we packed a lunch and drove north.  on the way home, Carol was driving between 35 & 40 MPH on the Kancamagus from Conwy to Lincoln and we only had ONE car behind us the entire time and he only came in back of us in Lincoln.  That was 34 miles without a car!  Scary!  Shocked

The roads are desolate and eerie.....and it hasn't really hit here yet.
Acadia National Park is not opened, and won't open for a while.
All cruise ships have been temporarily halted until the end of May....
And the governor is politely asking all non-residence to stay the eff out of this state !!!
We have plenty of food, TP, and beverages of all sorts....just waiting for all HELL to break loose.

Use common sense and stay safe everyone, we'll see y'all on the other side.

Yeah, glad I live in burbs. The Board of Health reports that two people in my Town have it. 14,000 plus people in my Town.

If you haven't seen it already, below is a link to a COVID-19 data website from John Hopkins University.

https://gisanddata.maps.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard/index.html#/bda7594740fd40299423467b48e9ecf6

It's got world-wide data and many ways to look at it. You can click on the little read dots in your State to get location-specific data. Based on the data, Terry lives in a very safe area. The nearest reported infection is Waldo Maine with two infected.

Stay safe everyone.   Smiley

When I brought Kathy to Dana Farber for chemo I wasn't allowed in so I drove around a bit. Went through the Ted Williams Tunnel towards the airport. One end to the other not a car insight. 7 o'clock on a Friday in Boston and no traffic. Very strange times indeed.

So many will Never know we had it until the cheap test is made by hundreds of millions

Twice I went to dr, the last time got a chest xray but was not approved for being tested although had
shortness of breath and dry cough for long period of time.  Now feeling 90% better but wife is still coughing and some fever comes and goes..  That is most frustrating not knowing.

Here, near ground zero (I am near New Rochelle) we have had 200 cases just in my town of Ossining NY

Bonnie has made some cloth masks which we wear going out to the store.  That is the least all of us should be doing to help slow this crap down.

My prediction is that the antiviral+zpac + zinc will be the standard regimen given to the whole population by the summertime as the clinical tests confirm what anectodal already show

Stay safe everyone, drink lots of water,  garlic (raw) is your friend and if you can stock up on zinc lozenges they do slow down replication of the virus until your immune system can do its thing
