I read several of you avoid using public facilities, such as restrooms. That's understandable. Cleaning and disinfecting a public place requires attention to detail and a lot of work. When businesses say they clean and disinfect their facility, do you know what they have actually done? Federal guidelines are specific for disinfecting a surface after contact with a COVID-19 person. But... do we know if the virus arrived with last man in?
How Duke Medicine stays sanitary is different than our local BP station. Disinfecting a hotel room? Curtains and carpet? With the cheapest labor available? You decide.
Cleaning and disinfecting over at Smithfield Foods uses chemicals strong enough to destroy a pair of boots. My daughter was buying a new pair of Timberlands every five months.
I post this for your consideration.
