What'd the best platform for video conferencing?

Today my boss had us try Zoom, as we have previously been using Google Hangouts for our daily huddle (Our company uses gmail with a company domain). For church meetings we use Microsoft Teams. We liked Zoom because it can tile all the participants, while Hangouts can only tile four at a time (the most recent speakers). Zoom also lets you replace your background with a photo or video, so people don't have to look at the room behind you. The hesitation is the recently publicized security issues. I can't remember how many participants Teams can tile at once, because I've only had small meetings recently. Have any of you come across a platform that works better than these?

I had a Board of Directors meeting of a cooperative I represent by way of Zoom I also set them up with another Zoom for a screening of applicants
Bonnie set me up and all 10 people had a productive meeting She has Zoom meetings every day sometimes 2 or 3.
I also have been on a series of webinars via Zoom sponsored by my SEO mentor RJon Robbins
(since none of you are attys in my area I am not worried about giving his name out lol)
Hopefully a few weeks after the govmt releases enough test kits to test the whole population we can end this thing once and for all. Soon there should be kits like the home pregnancy kit for everyone 5 min for pos and 15 for negative. It is easier than you would think to open the economy back up once this comes out, ending the problem of people NOT KNOWING they can get others sick

Was going to mention security but I see you brought it to light. I wouldn't use it for anything that you didn't mind the whole world knowing about. What I saw on the news blurbs on the phone said that it was easy for the perpetrators to steal your windows credentials. Whatever in the world that means I don't know.
Stay safe.
I do not profess to know anything about video conferencing, just relaying what I read.

we use ZOOM in our work dialing into a number with memer id 9 digit number to communicate with all who got invited into the meeting. Never knew they could see into our computer if we are at our workstations or not? I was on my cell phone zooming into our CFO meeting on Friday sitting in my lazyboy recliner watching the news at noon, but was noon so was technically on my 30 minute lunch break.

Zoom has hit the news but if you take sensible measures like setting a password on meetings and not sharing the link with those that don't need to know it then it is not too bad. Hangouts used to be good but Google seem to have dropped the ball with it in my experience since they closed down Google+ and now it is slow and also Google do like to see everything that you are doing. GoToMeeting / GoToWebinar and WebX seem in my experience to be the 'best' and most secure. WebX do a free plan but GTM/GTW can work out to be quite costly.
