I like music and its no secret that I love the Lord so I post this with the idea to celebrate that even in trial we are resilient, talented, inventive and in many cases loving. I see much good in this time. Even on this board we see so much talent and abilities that it amazes me.

A small celebration of life so to speak is this a song done by cell phone

TenTwoSix Music presents - The Nashville Studio Singer Community  - Virtual Cell Phone Choir - “It Is Well With My Soul” arranged by: David Wise

Please feel free to post positive things you see in this time, the durability and creativity of the human spirit and the true wealth of the US.

"My Life is in Your Hands" sung by the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir in HD

Robert, are you aware of the story behind that song? A Chicago business man had sent his wife and four daughters(all preteen) on ahead via ship to England, he had some business to tend to and was going to join them a short time later. During the trip over, the ship his wife and daughters were on collided with another and sank in the Atlantic. Miraculously his wife survived but the four girls were lost at sea. Some time later he wrote the words which were again some time later put to music. That is the shortened version of the tragedy. As you know, I raised four girls but lost two to cancer...one age 44 and one age 54. When I compare our stories I feel blessed that I haven't lost all four as the Chicago business man did. Yet every time I hear or sing that song, it brings tears to my eyes. But still....I'm doing great. In recent years I've lost two daughters, my wife, and my home to step children. Yet through it all I can still sing "It is well with my soul."  cooldude

I often think of you and its always good to see you post. I have heard that testimony before but forgot about it when I posted this, so it was nice you reminded me. I am glad you are doing well and transitioning in. When you started to post about getting back to tinkering I knew things are ok.   Grin

John, the cross that you have had to bear is a heavy one indeed.

The fact that you can sing and mean that all is well with your soul, says that your heart and mind are centered on Jesus.

Let it be known, these last few years with all the turmoil around me I could not have come through it all under my own power. I would have failed miserably. As trying times approached, doors seemed to open that I never even knew about and others closed that needed closing. With all my education and experience in various fields, I couldn't have planned for it to come out the way it has. Indeed...it is well.
